WONDERING ABOUT.. HOST PROFILE
I was just looking over the SHOW HOST profiles and pictures and noticed that Colleen Lopez is not among them. I know she is still a show host and she sales her own line. I find it strange. Is she considered management now or have I just overlooked her picture/ profile. She is one of the last long standing host in my mind. LONG STANDING HOST:
Bobby, Callie, Lynn,Alyce, Marlo, Guy,Amy, Colleen. In no particular order. These are the ones I consider Long Standing. Anyone else noticed?

chrisy, Colleen is no longer a show host. She is now considered to be a vendor and sells her line of jewelry and fashion. However, she does host “Designer Jewelry Collection which also includes Absolute. If I remember correctly, she worked with her superiors to limit her hours so she could enjoy her grand daughter.

Thank You! I Knew that she sold her own line but had no idea that she was no longer considered a Show Host. of sorts. One thing that I find irritating about HSN is when a Show Host leaves they don’t really give them any kind of public send off. No matter what the reasons may be. I think a simple statement on their behalf would be nice, for people like me who have watched for years and years you get use to seeing the Show Host and than one day they are just gone! It’s not that way in Colleen’s case but there are a few times that Show Host have sold their own line and you didn’t see them as much as you see Colleen. (Connie and her jewelry come to mind.)I guess Colleen has been there long enough to have the best of both worlds.

I completely agree with Chrisy (and the adorable little doggy profile pic). HSN should let us loyal customers know a little bit more about who is leaving or what is changing…..
Same situation like Colleen is Connie Craig Carroll, who used to be a former host and is now selling her own jewelry.
All of us ladies are literally part of the “HSN family” and without us HSN and wouldn’t even be able to exist. Therefore it would be nice if HSN Management would really consider our feedback. That includes our honest feedback about many hosts who are just not doing a good job and make us change the channel. -
Hi there. thank you for clarifying her Host status. I thought it really odd that a host would be hawking her own fashion and/or jewelry lines where she was employed. Something about conflict of interest.
She is definitely passionate about jewelry and obviously is thrilled about her own fashions. Bear that in mind when watching her presentations… they are going to be very biased opinions. -
Hi Ladybug: I’m smiling at your post. I have been a HSN customer almost from the beginning. Those early days were quite similar to what you see in the hosts today. It wasn’t until Home Shopping was almost over that Barry Diller came in and made an offer and the rest was history until a few years ago when the original owners (under another name and format) bought it back. I am still reeling from that purchase. Today, I do not watch the presentations. I check the daily program guide and take a look at the offerings. If anything interests me I either wait for the presentation or watch the video if the pictures do not show what I need to know. I also mute the sound. The one thing I hate is the high pitch presentation. I usually run the other way and do the same in any retail establishment.
