Will Nellie's remove the black dye smell from new jeans?
I have 3 new pair of 3 different brands of black jeans. All of them have that awful smell. I have used vinegar/baking soda/febreeze in wash and the spray and a product named enviroclenz. The smell is still there. Is there any hope with trying nellie’s? Thanks for any help.

No. From past experience I can tell you it’s very difficult to get the chemical smell out of black jeans. Once you think it’s out, you’ll get a whiff of it on a damp or hot day. Sorry.

I’m not sure this will work for jeans..
I pour about a half a cup of “dollar store” liquid fabric refreshener in the wash cycle..It works wonders for stinky gym clothes and socks..
As with any dark jeans wash inside out.
Hope this helps.. -
The odor that you are smelling in new jeans is caused by formaldehyde. To get rid of that smell, add 1 cup of vinegar to your laundry, along with your detergent. (1/2 cup for small loads.) The vinegar gets rid of that smell.
