Sunny Valley Detergent Sheets
I have been using Sunny Valley Detergent Sheets for a while now but my husband and I noticed that we really developed a slight itch from our bed sheets. I used a blue light to see if there was anything on our bed. The blue light revealed some type of white filaments all over the sheets; they are an olive color so the blue light was able to show the little white elements very clearly. My only conclusion is that the detergent sheets leave behind some element of their composition when washed items are dried. I like the product but it may need further development. I will return the order I just received.

Consumer Reports tested laundry sheets and found they just don’t work as well as regular detergent. You could try double rinsing. Are your clothes causing itching? I have a lot of allergies to perfumes or the petroleum based detergents which is just about anything in a regular grocery or big box store. And so laundry detergent in general, fabric softeners, non-bleach whiteners tend to make me itch. The heavy perfume on other people’s clothing from their detergent that I can smell walking by them gives me a headache. Laundry detergents are really full of yucky petroleum based chemicals and who wants to be emerged in that night and day?

I would contact the company and discuss it with them.

Ennui maybe you need a life.

I’m not the one shining a blue light on my sheets, like a crime scene.

I have a life, but thank you for your concern.

Maybe you need new sheets? Maybe the threads are fraying? What kind of fabric are they?
