Samantha Brown Today's Special
I don’t travel much at all, so I really don’t know. I like the idea of the carry on luggage being shown today, but will need to bring dresses for a semi formal event. Would this work at all, or this luggage is too small for both casual clothes and 1-2 dresses? It would be for about 3-4 days. Thanks!

I travel a lot for work and can go for 5 days with a carry on and personal bag. The key is to take items that do not wrinkle easily. I also have a Joy travel steam iron that stays in my travel on suitcase. Try to stick with 2 pairs of shoes, heels for your dresses and a pair of neutral tone athleisure shoes that will work with everything. Hope this helps out!

Very good advice Angiep. I was a flight attendant for many years and wish I had the packing cubes that Samantha Brown sells back then. Both my husband and I use them when we travel and they are awesome. I even bought them for my granddaughter who just went to Washington DC and she loved them as well. Instead of folding just roll your clothes and they won’t be as wrinkled . It is amazing just how much those little cubes hold and no need to take things out at the hotel…unless you want to hang a dress.

I just got back from a 4 day trip and only took a carry on and anot oversized tote bag. I needed outfits for each day and brought 3 dresses for evenings as well as a blazer. I also take A LOT of skincare, makeup, hair stuff, jewelry, etc. I put the 2 additional pairs (heels and a pair of heeled slides) of shoes in the tote and a pair of flip flops in bag. I avoid checking bags if I can help it. You should be fine for 3-4 days!
To avoid over packing I make a list of EVERYTHING I am taking down to a toothbrush. I write down what I’m wearing each day and night along with jewelry and shoes. When I am about finished packing I cross things off the list.
