DO YOU REMEMBER?..
Just a little fun game of do you remember STARTING OFF WITH: TINA BERRY c’mon now I can’t be the only one who brought dolls from HSN back in the day! 😂 or am I? Let me know.
-
I remember her well. And, yes, I bought dolls during that time period, too. Most of mine are in storage now, but the quality was there.
-
I sure do. I used to love to watch Tina Berry. I did buy some dolls too 🙂

I do remember Tina Berry and her dolls. I tried never to miss her program and when she was on while I was at work, I would call in to place an order. There were several artists that I purchased directly, so sight unseen, I would place that phone call. And, mookie you are so right, the quality was there. Her description of the doll and the artist were superb.

Yesssss! Fayah Spanos was my favorite! ( and I know I spelled her name wrong ) Back than Tiana and Alice were like peanut butter and jelly.🥰

Oh Crissy, I adored Fayzah Spanos. I have many of her dolls. And I enjoyed watching Alice Cleveland. I remember hearing that Alice and Tina were best friends. I also enjoyed hearing about her raccoon family. Funny, I used to compare the dolls on QVC to HSN. People thought QVC was the place to go, but after watching decided that HSN had up and coming artists that were far and above the offerings of the other shopping channel. My mom always enjoyed Marie Osmond.

this is a fun little quiz -
In case you didn’t know, Alice Cleveland recently passed from a long illness.

God’s blessings to her family, sorry to hear that💕

SHARON818. I am so sorry to hear this. I really enjoyed her as a host and was so sorry to see her leave. I often wondered what she was doing and if she was OK. May she RIP. Thanks for the update. So sad.

I was thinking about her the other day. I began to watch HSN during that time also. I was cleaning out the garage and there was a box of the dolls she sold. Very high quality. Did HSN (I think Home Shopping Club at that time) sell Capodimonte porcelain during that time too?
-
Allegro, Capodimonte was sold at the same time. Both Alice and Tina were the hosts on occasion. I had a friend that purchased quite a few of these pieces and today they are worth thousands of dollars. If you have any, you may want to get them appraised.

I also remember Tina and Alice very well. I worked with both of them on air during LIVE tv doll shows.
I wish HSN would bring back the doll show and ask some of us old timers to pop in for a special show.
We are all getting on up in age and I’m sure would love to be a part of last show.
