Clean boss

The smell is the reason this product was pulled right after its initial premiere. It’s so migraine-inducing, it needs a medical disclaimer. I bought it again because I had heard the scent had been ‘fixed’ it has not. It’s actually worse than it was originally.

Test drove Clean Boss by spraying it on a table and my husband had to leave the room because of the smell. To me, it has a very strong, acrid odor that resembles nothing I’ve ever used before…and it is not pleasant. It lingered so long on my furniture and my hands that I continued smelling it while eating dinner an hour later. Some reviews liken it to thyme. I grow thyme and this smells nothing like that, whatsoever. And its cleaning power? I get far better results from a spray bottle of plain water and a microfiber cloth. Funny thing, my mother had a bottle of the original product before it was re-introduced as Clean Boss. She said she never used it because of the smell. I took it outside, sprayed it on a surface and it was the same smell as the product I received earlier in the day. I am sending it back. Maybe if enough customers follow suit, HSN will reevaluate carrying this and send Mangano back to the drawing board.
