No, I don’t think so.

We have had these plugged in for about two years and no ,they do not stop most bugs from entering our home.Even ants. We do our best,like most homeowners to keep pests outside, here in So Cal.I don’t recommend them .

If you go online and read about them, they do not work. This brand or any other brand. You’ll be wasting your money.

I’ve had them for years and have rarely seen a spider or any kind of bug. But no on the carpenter ants. You need a professional to treat those.

They will not deter carpenter ants. I’m a Realtor & have been on a lot of pest inspections. I bought my daughter more expensive ones on Amazon. i think they were three for $75 but they work & she lives in NOLA. LOL!
