HSN MOVE TO WEST CHESTER, PA.
I have written to HSN and QVC on this subject for months. I get no response. I and my family have been shopping on HSN for years. We have purchased many things, and like most people, we have become somewhat attached to the hosts and guest hosts. As a retired business consultant, I fully understand the economies of consolidation. QVC has decided that it is in their economic interest, long term, to consolidate operations in one location. Good luck with that and May you achieve success.
Having said that, you are being more than a little short sighted with the future of your guest hosts and some of the models and support staff that served their appearances. Through out the COVID shutdown, you allowed remote broadcasts. Guest hosts did this effectively using inadequate lighting and facilities. The job was still effective. I have contacted some of the outstanding product presenters that we know, love, trust, and purchase from. They tell me they were offered no choice. Either move to PA or “see you later.”
I found this very dismissing of not only your fantastic guest hosts, but of your HSN viewers as well. I must conclude by your lack of response to my previous communication attempts, and the choices these fine people have been given, that the “see you later” goes for customers as well. The quest hosts I contacted are both males and have been with HSN for over ten years.
Both indicated they would set up proper remote areas at their expense if asked. Both said they would continue. Why doesn’t HSN continue with these great people? Your customers love them, trust them, and buy from them regularly. One man is so good at what he does his last five presentations were sell outs. HSN must realize after all these years that it is not always a wonderful product selling itself. It is the quality of the presentation.
Lastly, their is no question that you can do remote guests easily. I watched yesterday as the outstanding chef Curtis Stone did remotes all day.
Recently, my aunt purchased a Lounge Doctor based on the recommendation of the guest host. Please take a moment to offer remotes to such people as Bob Circosta and Matt Peters. Your customers will appreciate it and so will the venders that they work with.
Please help.

I honestly believe due to the economy, those who stayed in Florida will be glad they did, down the road.
I’m surprised HSN has hired 6 new hosts. That has to be expensive. They could probably get by with less. They seemed to have hired top rate people.
Was watching the Christmas shows on the Q. Almost everything was $49 + shipping and tax. I think Hobby Lobby and Michael’s has similar products for less. I rarely watch QVC. When Pat and Rick leave, I won’t watch at all.-
New hosts are cheaper than veteran hosts. And, sometimes new hosts don’t last very long. They go through months of training before they go on air. New hosts get stuck doing the FB updates during broadcasts. I think of Rosina Grosso and how hard she’s worked to move up the ladder.

The problem is, the new hosts do NOT have the month’s of training that they used to. Rebekah and Brynne were BY THEMSELVES on the morning show whole Siaoming was on vacation. Granted, Rebekah is a pro, but Brynne needs a lot of work. She’s been doing full hours within a month of hire. That didn’t happen even 10 years ago. I did hear that one of the new hires, Jasmine, is being trained by Mary Beth Roe. So Qurate hired MBR as a trainer after she retired, much like Kathy Levine worked with new HSN hosts awhile back.

Curtis Stone is doing remotes BY HIMSELF. No host. I feel for the guy.

Never mind, Tina just popped in.

Just wanted to chime in. I saw Bob Circosta’s name and I need to say that he and Bobbi Ray were the first hosts on the network. I think things started with the electric can opener which they broadcasted over the radio. The item sold out almost immediately. Both hosts had to package everything and send them to the customers. It was just the two of them for awhile.
This is not the time to sell a home in Florida. Many are still reeling from the back to back hurricanes from last year. Also the floods from a couple of storms that hit us just a few weeks ago. There are people in my community still waiting for a roof repair and to think we are back watching the tropics until the end of November. Also shark attacks up and down the Gulf coast. Who said it was easy living in Florida…To think that HSN wants the vendors to move to PA.. Not a good idea to say NO to them. They must relocate. Very difficult to uproot a family when a relocation could be questionable.
