HSN Card billing before item has shipped
I received my online HSN card bill yesterday which listed a charge for an item which is still listed as ‘packaging’ today. I thought items were not billed until shipped and am wondering if this is new. Would appreciate HSN feedback.

that’s correct. it’s not new, HSN has been doing it for ever. the problem is, no one complain about it so HSN has gotten away with it for years. if you don’t like it and you feel it’s wrong, you need to call your attorney general in your state you live in and if you know others who feels the same, get them to report it to their attorney general too. it’s time we put an end to it because yes’ HD isn’t supposed to bill your credit card until it ships out. Kristie and the other moderator are covering for HSN because now there getting scared.

Thank you @bobzi, do you mind sending us an email with a copy of your bill showing that this item was billed? Also have you reached out to Synchrony Financial regarding your bill and the charge for this order?
You can email a copy to hsnsocialcare@hsn.com

That’s a lie. HSN charges your credit cards as their processing your order. I’m a long time customer and have been since 2002 and HSN has always charged my credit card as they process my order weather on the phone or doing it on line. their not supposed to but they get away with it. the moderator lied to you. if you chose flex pay, they bill your card for your first flex pay including the tax. HSN never waits to bill your card until it ships.

Hi @sunshine, any time an order is placed, an authorization is placed on your card. An order is not physically charged in our system until the order ships.
We appreciate your feedback and request that you keep all comments respectful of all HSN employees and other community members.

Hi @bobzi, that’s really odd as we do not charge a customer until the order ships. Do you mind sharing the item number in question?
Also, for faster service, I would recommend posting to our Customer Service forum.
