Andrew Lessman's TS increasingly expensive.
I needed to reorder Andrew’s Co Q 10 for me and my husband and I just couldn’t do it. I’m 69 years old and so is my husband, We’re both retired and between the two of us we take a closet full of Andrew’s vitamins. I went to order and it’s $199.00 for 500 capsules which isn’t a years supply for two people. That just did it for me. I’ve got to go elsewhere. I’m checking out Vitacost. I mean his prices are outrageous!
Does anyone feel the same way? This is hard for everyone but especially hard for anyone on a fixed income. I guess I’m just hoping someone at HSN reads this and reels these prices in. I’ve also noticed that some of the TS don’t have as large sizes as they did before.
I’ve reached my breaking point. I’ve been on Andrew’s bandwagon for as long as I can. I’ve got to start replacing my products elsewhere.

Yes, they are expensive – I know exactly how you feel.
My last order of CoQ10 was the 720 size, so it lasted a long time for us. This $199 price is for 500 capsules.
I feel I get the best qjuality one can purchase by using Andrew’s supplements, but not sure how much longer I can do all the ones I’ve been doing for ove 20 years.
I will have be more selective as time goes forward

I’m not sure if this will work for you, and I apologize if I’m butting in…
I had a problem when the biggest quantity decreased from 600 in Oct 2019 to 500 in 2020. After looking around I ended up changing to 4 capsules a week so the 500 lasts for 1 year for 2 people. Would that work for you?-
Thanks for your response! That is certainly an option.
I appreciate your suggestion!

I agree, I’m also an antique customer for Andrew and between my husband and I we take about 15 different vitamins from him.
But yes, now we’re both on a fixed retirement income and this is very hard.
I know, AL vitamins does work, and I know everything in price is up, but we have to start to find other source, because is not affordable anymore.Andrew should have at least a senior discount with verification to help the older generation who really need these vitamins.
Show host on the CQ10 TS, said, never been lower than $199.99. ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE.!
on 10/07/2017 the CQ10 600 capsules I paid, $169.90. now, for 100 less capsules, $30 more.
Unfortunately, it’s time for us to find another source, even that maybe they don’t add additional vitamins.
Sorry Andrew, Your Products are EXCELLENT, BUT not affordable for the older Generation, who’s on a fixed income.
Thank you for the wonderful products for the past 20 years
-
It would be wonderful if Andrew would consider a Senior discount (or loyalty consideration).l
Having paid our dues since he was just starting out, it would help now that a lot of us are retired & on fixed incomes.
As I mentioned previously, I will have to be more selective going forward.

Totally Agree with everyone’s comments. As with everything else prices are outrages not just the vitamins.. I take alot of vitamins + believe In Andrews comments because of his research. Unfortunately I may have to research my own needs so I can eliminate what I don”t need because some of them I’m taking as a preventative measure.
-
Very well said! .
Thank you -
Sagapo, I noticed when reading all my bottles that there are repeat ingredients within all of them. I the figured out I could easily eliminate some of the preventive vitamins I was taking as I was getting more doses of some vitamins then needed.
-
-
I did a spreadsheet of all the ingredients in each of the bottles I have. In doing so, I found I could eliminate 4 different bottles because enough of the ingredients in them and the dosages covered the daily requirements. I should have done this a long time ago. Thinking of the $$$ I could have saved.

Great idea, Shoppingagain!
I think I’ll do the same – I’m pretty sure there are too many “b’s” in my bonnet!

Should have shopped thru Rakuten. I checked out with ChocoNuvo & received $19.99 cash back. I did a separate check out the next day with CoQ10 & received $14.99 cash back.
When you check out with multiple products I found you only get paid a rebate on the least amount product??? Now I will check out 1 item at a time.
Andrew also offers discounts on his site depending on quantity you buy.
The CoQ10 did used to be 720 capsules so it was enough for the two of us. Now we skip days here & there to make it last a year. Not buying 2 bottles. It’s 200 mg now while it used to be 100 mg so you could take it every other day.
Andrew also has a vitamin calculator on his site. You can find it under the Learn Tab at top of page. You click on each supplement of his you take & it will show you how much of each ingredient is in them.-
Always good to use the cash back sites for xtra cash back. Thx for the info on Andrew,s site . I’ve called Pro caps + they were very helpful. HSN is the best for offering monthly payments which helps. Too bad insurance companies can not validate vitamins as preventative treatment for certain ailments but then again where would their money come from if not high price Rx medication.
-
That LEARN vitamin calculator you recommended is a gem! I printed my list out (3.5 pages) and it was so easy.
Wonder how many others have not noticed that is available on Andrew’s site?
Thanks again, Nightowlz!

There has never been a 750 size in coq10. I too have to get two always.
To me i would rather spend on Andrews vitamins than prescription drugs
Or doctors visits. I’m retired also. 76 years old and I thank Andrew for his
Amazing products that keep me well.-
The empty CoQ10 bottle I just disposed of was a 720 bottle – which I replaced with a bottle of 500 just offerered. My original message was re the fact of the cost of the 500 compared to the 720 previously bought.
@leather, you are correct, there was NOT a 750 bottle. I, like you thank Andrew for his continued ability to provide exceptional vitamins to all who can afford them.

Do you know if the Essential One have MK-7 and vitamin K-2?
Thanks
-
@kitty68 – the Essential One I have does not include the K2-K7. I have always purchased it separately.

Andrew has mentioned that the COQ10 was up in price. I’ve noticed that the wholesale clubs have also marked their prices up. Andrew has spoiled me by giving us the best of ingredients and like you, wish prices were lower. The fact remains is that everything has been increasing lately and I suspect so have the ingredients Andrew uses.
