Andrew Lessman Letting Down Long-time Customers
For those of us that wait every year at the same time to replenish our most used products with today’s special values, Andrew’s visit changes and specials certainly throws a monkey wrench into our schedules. For instance, January has always included cholestacare and fibermucil and circulation and vein in the TSV, but no longer. In fact, when I checked with his office, I was told that everything is changed and no one knows if previous TSVs will ever be TSV’s again or when. I live entirely on social security and it was the only way I could afford his products. I usually spent around $1500 in January in addition to buying the TSVs and other products throughout the year. But that won’t be happening this January. I’m so upset that he would leave us behind that I’m not going to purchase anything this January and I will be rethinking future purchases. I take about 40 his products and have always enjoyed most of them. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 20 years (going back to the original QVC days), but if this is how he feels, I will definitely be rethinking that.

buyme72 ITA with everything you said, except that this was not a merger. Q bought H. I feared that would be bad news and from this customer’s point of view, it is.
UGH I hate the Q-ish things we now see on HSN, like the silly choreography that the style models go through in the clothing shows, or their turning product shows into “personality” shows, like cooking or whatever with Shannon (are they making her into a personality doofus too, like David?) or beauty report with so-and-so, etc. etc. I fully expect them to start limiting shoe sizes so I will no longer have an option to by shoes at HSN. (Thank heaven for Zappos) …Q is so into just selling to the biggest profit point, which eliminates ages, sizes, other extremes. They are imposing their system on something I appreciated for NOT being QVC. IMO
Andrew’s products were the one thing I didn’t want them to touch. He is a very wealthy man, due to his good business sense which, although admittedly I envy a bit, I would not deny him, but it is the Q factor that makes me wonder about the changes you have mentioned, not my dear Andrew! But you may be right, it may be Andrew. Or it may be Q imposing their thing. Bottom line is that I agree with and share your frustration.

QVC does not own HSN. QVC did not buy HSN. Both QVC and HSN are owned by Qurate Retail Group.

Whoever owns, merges, bought or whatever with whomever – that info does not really apply to the fact that I also have purchased directly from Andrew’s company for years (they do sometimes have better sizes and pricing) and obviously “He” is in total control of his own company.

It would be nice if he offered auto-ship. The TS prices are expensive but the non TS prices are cra-cra!

I understand what you’re saying but I don’t know of many businesses that do the same thing every year, online or not. All of Andrew’s products are NOT the best around, as far as ingredients go. Do your research and don’t trust blindly. Some are the best I’ve found hands down!
Another thing to think about: 40 supplements is a lot and I don’t know anyone that needs this many. May I ask what you’re taking? You could get by with less than 10 I’m sure. I would be glad to help you if you’d like.

For years, Andrew “has” had the same items on the TSV at the same time of the year. That’s what made it cost effective so you could stock up of the “super” sizes that are not offered at any other time. But moving on, I take a lot of supplements because I do have a few medical issues and do not believe in prescription drugs. I thank you very much for our offer, however, I don’t wish to share all my personal info on this forum. I just wanted to say that those of us who have been loyal customers of Andrew for over 20+ years would like to be treated a little better. Just as a “for instance”, I always bought his “maximum” eye support because I have some serious eye issues and was told by his office that I should take that item instead of his “ultimate” eye support because the maximum product was some much better. He does offer the ultimate version on TSV and the last time it was on, it would have been nice if he announced that the maximum product was discontinued and I would have purchased the ultimate special. The very next month when I needed the maximum, I was told it was discontinued. I don’t think this is an example of good business practices. Enough said…

Buyme72 It may not be Andrew’s idea to do things differently. He obviously has to follow new rules in selling under the new ownership. I often check his website for deals and do buy some of his products that way. Sometimes they are less expensive.

As I stated, I spoke directly with his office. I also buy my products directly from his website. This decision is his alone and has nothing to do with “new ownership” (which I think you mean now that QVC and HSN have merged)? Besides, Andrew is the #1 selling product line on HSN, so believe me “they” do not dictate to “him”. Anyway, just very disappointed that products which are already very pricey (even though quite good) are now even further out of reach for seniors on limited fixed incomes.
