Andrew Lessman Calcium – Women need higher dose
I love the Lessman brand of vitamins and use them regularly. After turning 65 my doctor recommended increasing my daily calcium to 1,200 mg, so I looked at the Lessman Calcium and Magnesium choices. The highest levels of calcium in all his products is 500 mg in 2 pills a day. I’d sure love to get 1,000 in 2 capsules, as all women need at least that much as we age. Any chance that the calcium levels could be increased so we don’t have to take 4 capsules a day? Thank you 🙂

I am somewhat skeptical of this brand of vitamins because the ones I have purchased in the past did not have the exact ingredients in them listed on the bottle nor on the website. Which high quality products all list on their labels. If it is made from salt, they need to say that and what kind of salt. . You also need to do a google search on taking Vitamin D with K2 with that calcium and make sure it is not the type of calcium that clogs arteries. I would suggest you go to a good health food store or order from a well known company online and get something that is more close to your needs.

? Lessman’s products are always clearly listed, with all ingredients, on the label. Actually, there’s a lot ‘less’ to list as his products leave out many of the extra not-so-good additives that other vitamin brands use (including some health food brands, many of those are just bogus). Lessman vitamins have been around for many years, studied, and verified as legit. That wasn’t my concern (did you even read my post??) I was asking for a higher amount of calcium in the calcium/magnesium vitamins, that’s all. Thanks anyway 🙂

For yellow-rose 14: RE: Andrew Lessman vitamins. Here’s one of the Lessman Calcium products sold by A. Lessman; you said the labels weren’t complete, that’s just not correct. I’ll add a pic of just one example (there are dozens of his products viewable on HSN w/ all the ingredients shown). Also, a simple Google search will take you to dozens of reviews and accolades about his products, which are highly rated for their natural ingredients and their policy to not include additives and preservatives, which most other vitamin suppliers include. Here’s that photo of the Calcium with the K2 ingredient, “NO SALT” and you can research others. Hope this helps you.
