Why do designers make tops with metal that can't be removed to clean?
Seems to me that every time I have gotten a really cute top that has a metal attachment they are not designed to remove and I wonder how that the designers intend for us to wash them since washing machines don’t like to be hit with metal

I throw things with metal in the washer. If it’s a zipper, I zip it, turn it inside out and / or put in a delicates bag. If it’s just decorative, I make sure I’m not washing it with anything it could snag on. I’ve washed hubs overalls for years, doesn’t hurt the machine, it just makes a lot of noise!
