What is up with sizing for TSV Diane Gilman Jeans

I am so done with her jeans and pants. I have not bought jeans in years due to the disgusting chemical smell. I ordered velvet jeans that had no smell, but, this was also a mistake. Had to size up and the fabric is not velvet I use to make my own velvet pants, tops and dresses so I know what velvet feels and looks like. For the life of me I could not figure out this fabric. I never know what size to get in her jeans/pants should I get my regular, should I size up or should I size down it’s ridiculous I do not know of another brand that does that the size is the size no matter what style it is.

i gave up a long time ago – the sizing doesn’t make the purchase and co$t of returning worth the trying on…and I hate the teeny tiny worthless front pockets, they can’t even fit a lipstick they are not deep enough.
