We are all beautiful
If we are all beautiful just the way we are, why do all of these fashion presentations constantly insinuate that their clothes will make a person look taller and slimmer? What if you are not tall and slim? Talk about a mixed message. Maybe women would like to look good just the way they are and not strive for the impossible. I am 5’1″, no pair of jeans is ever going to make me look tall, and I am smart enough to know it. Quit telling people that they have to strive to be tall and slim when that is not who they are.

It’s called sales pitching.

Schiltzie, I don’t watch the presentations, but know what you mean. In reality, if you shop in person at a store then I do think fit, cut, shape, and material does help one look best.

Schiltzie, I’m also just a tad over 5 feet tall. Beauty comes in all sizes. Don’t allow the sales pitches to bother you.
