Too Many Ankle Pants
Why are there so many ankle pants. Not everyone likes that look. Being on the taller side, I absolutely loathe them. They hit way above the ankle amped make the pants look cheaper. Consequently, I don’t buy many pants from HSN or QVC.

I agree! There are too many ankle length jeans. It has prevented me from purchasing items I, otherwise, love. Truth is I’m going to wear with sneakers most of the time and it doesn’t look good. It looks too short. They always show models with heels which looks different.
Side note: you need to read lengths on EACH item before buying. If inseam is short, I’ll buy a different length.

I also think they look like high water pants. When I was growing up, I was tall. I couldn’t find tall clothing in our little town. I hate ankle pants. I remember when DG2 had cropped pants that were rolled twice. All I had to do was uncuff them. Of course, that was a while ago & they no longer fit me. The TSV definitely from Iman was too short. I didn’t like the huge leg on the wider leg. It’s way too wide. I think HSN will have a lot of returns.

Personally I like the straight leg (and boot cut) and find it flattering for my short body.
I have not yet received my purchase from Iman’s special so I don’t know how wide they will be. I plan on uncuffing them permanently. I’ll come back and report. Lol

Totally agree. I remember back when they were called high water pants and it wasn’t a compliment.

I totally agree with you CharlieK. I was very disappointed in Iman”s TS. I have the opposite problem; I am short, and they make me look just plain frumpy dumpy. I honestly don’t think they flatter anyone. I would love to see a nicely made pair of trousers. Also, what is up with the great big flowery prints? How about some chic and timeless pieces.
