Today's specials don't get shipped for over a week!

I already shoes on August 1 today is August 7 and they haven’t even shipped yet! That means I wait half a month to get it today special. Why don’t they have a supply on hand? I ordered other things and get them in less than a week. Why get it today special when you can get something from another store unless time! Is there savings of 3-5 dollars really worth it?
