Skinnygirl Puff Sleeve Tee ITEM 792-925 WASHED ONCE FULL OF FUZZ BALLS
I will never I mean never, never, never buy anything from Skinnygirl!
I purchased several of the Skinnygirl puff sleeve tees and it came to 45.00 a top but I wore the first one once and washed it; it was full of fuzz balls that is how CHEAP AND DEFECTIVE THIS MATERIAL IS IT PROBABLY CAME FROM CHINA. MS. Bethanny Frankel is very shrewd and cheap. She probably paid a dollar a top and sold it to HSN for 30 dollars and I paid 45.00 to wear it once. I tried to get HSN to take them back but of course they won’t. So, I will donate the others. I purchased quite a few at 45.00 each.
My friend said she washed hers once also and she thought she might have thrown a tissue in with the wash but then she realized it was the top that formed fuss balls and it was only washed once in delicate cold water.
That is what I washed my top on delicate cold and I use Dreft of the Beekman boy’s detergent.
Skinnygirl is disgusting and I would never buy a top knowing I could only wear it once. HSN is disgusting for allowing her to sell her garbage and not honor a refund for defective bad merchandise.
I would just like to know if anyone else has had a problem?

I don’t know what material this shirt is made from but I avoid polyester and modal as I find they pill and are hot to wear. I did not purchase this shirt because I avoid most HSN clothing now as it is just made of cheap fabric. Called “fast fashion” like “fast food” and I am trying to get out of the purchase new every year rut. Everything seems to be made cheaper lately. I did recently order a Marla Wynn “Tunic Sweater” on clearance but it is actually just a polyester shirt that has to be hand washed and laid out to dry. I decided to keep it and baby it and wear a cotton long sleeved t-shirt under it for Fall. I hand washed it and laid it flat outside to dry and it is a wrinkled mess. A reviewer did say it was thin, thin, thin garment but I thought a thinnish sweater would be great. I have had her thin sweaters before and they start to pill at the end of winter with babying them hand wash, etc. But got two years winter wear from them until the fabric was pilled and horrible. I still purchase from Land’s End because I like cotton and I am finding their stuff is still higher quality, washes well, but read the type of material because they have some with that modal, too. I got some cotton tunics from QVC this year and boy are they thin material also. Denim and company still has nice fabrics but they are not as thick as in the past. I believe this is a sign of the times and catering to people who don’t know the difference between quality fabric and fit and fast fashion.

I agree with you totally I usually never buy tops from any designers on HSN. This purchase turned out to be a huge mistake. I purchased several at 45.00 each and I will only get one wear out of all of them. I am thinking out just giving the ones I haven’t worn yet to good will at least they are new and never worn.
I will stick with purchasing jeans only from G by Guiliana that is usually the only thing that I purchase, and I always avoid the tops because in the past the few that I did purchase were a disappointing but none as bad as Skinnygirl.
I am a cotton girl all the way nothing beats cotton especially for the hot summer months. I usually shop J.Crew for tops, Anthopologie and different department stores because I like to purchase Petites. I personally rather pay more for an item and have it be of the highest quality than to purchase something cheap and have it fall apart.
I think Susan Graver makes quality clothes especially her pants and the prices are very reasonable also everything is made in America. She is my favorite designer out of anyone on a home shopping network.
My mother and grandmother were both seamstresses so the fact that a designer makes things in the USA means a lot to me. It is supporting workers in this country. Most other designers have everything made overseas because of greed they want a huge profit.
I do own a couple of real leather jackets from G by Giuliana that turned out to be a hit for me because they were cropped so they fit like a petite jacket but other than that I really stay away from most of the clothing and shoes.
As far as Skinnygirl goes I will Never purchase anything from her line again.
I am not a big fan of Bethenny Frankel to begin with but now I really do not like her at all.
How could you sell a 45.00 top that doesn’t hold up after one washing?
I hope HSN looks into it and stops selling such cheap defective merchandise.
