Is this travel bag wipe-able, water resistant, water proof? Please let me know. It looks great!

The bag came back in stock recently. Not sure if it is sold out or not right now. Keep an eye out for returns or ‘as-is’ for this item if you missed it. The prices are always best with ‘as-is” returns.
I love this bag, and I also love the one with sturdy nylon (?) she did 2022-2023 that came in forest green, fuchsia, burgundy, black, and cobalt. They have orchid camo linings that were perfect. If those colors could come back in soft side 19 or 22″ maybe with croco trim, or maybe in croco, I am positive the fuchsia, dark green, and Elsie Mae blue would sell out in a HOT minute b/c def I will find somewhere to put them (probably stored inside some 22″s). It seems like 22″ is just getting so big these days that no one gets them on the plane in economy, where most of us live. Plus, the 19″ is so much easier to tote around. Some hardside 19″s that open on the length instead of at the bottom would also be great. Imagine how fast a hot pink hardside 19″ would sell out.

I was looking at this bag for my wife, but didn’t pull the trigger and now it’s sold out. Is there any idea on if the bag will be back in stock, or where else I may be able to purchase it? Thanks for any info!

  Hi Jeff. I am not sure if the bag sold out. A week ago, this past Monday, it was still shown, All of a sudden it disappeared., even from the day it was presented. Normally, when an item sells out, it is still shown and you see something like this: “You have great taste, this item sold out.” If it’s something I wanted’, I would have put it into my favorites so if it did return I would be notified.
  I have a feeling HSN took it down for some reason. I would not lose hope yet. There may be quite a few customers who will return their purchase for one reason or another. In the event you need one in a hurry, a good place to start would be E-bay. I also have a feeling that you may see this bag again in a month or less. The bag is great. A lot of room. Probably more room than what I need. I also purchased her hobo bag and it is very light weight. I am using it now and love it. It will also fit over the handle on your luggage and in my case “D-Best Trolley. -It has nine pockets. It is also made well.

I ordered the floral print. The bag is very light weight and that is one of the reasons for my purchase. Samantha mentioned the weight during the first presentation. I also ordered the wallet in burgundy. The bags/purses I normally purchase are ones that have tons of zippered pockets. The one I currently have is leather and is extremely heavy when everything is in there. The one prior was polyester or nylon. I just received a polyester bag from Multisac and it has tons of zippered pockets. However, the one Samantha showed has side pockets for water and an umbrella. These are great ideas when traveling or in my case when visiting hubby. There have been many occasions when it was raining as I ran to the car. She also mentioned something on how to clean the plastic water bottle when you are away from home. I will be listening at 9 pm (6 pm in your State)to see if she mentions if it’s water resistant or waterproofed. However, I purchased nylon grocery bags that can hold up to 50 lbs. I carry one or two with me. These are waterproofed and wash and dry very well. Use them for carrying clean clothes to the Rehab and also for fruit and some treats for both of us. .

TACI, that is a good question. Normally, Samantha’s luggage is waterproof, but in this case no one mentioned this. I did purchase the bag and hopefully, in one of the presentations prior to midnight someone will say if it is or it isn’t.

I have quite a few bags that are polyester and they do wipe clean with a damp cloth. In some cases you can add a touch of soap for those dirt areas that no amount of rubbing gets that stain erased.. My handbags are all light weight since my shoulder can only carry so much. Having this as a backpack will make my life easier, especially when I use the “D-Best Trolley.” This bag will flip over the handle bar. No more carrying in my hand and trying to open and close doors and that includes the trunk in my vehicle. (LOL)

  Oodie, Thanks for your reply. You are a great help. On our last vacation we got caught in quite a bit of rain. Living in SoCA sometimes we forget how much it rains in other places. Plus we flew on some smaller airlines and their bag specs are much smaller than standard US. I also wondered how much the bag weighed.

  TACI, Samantha added that the bag weight is ounces and not pounds. I think last night she may have stated that it was 9 oz., though it could be less. Nothing mentioned about being waterproofed or water resistant. The nylon bag I use daily is less than an ounce and yet holds up to 50lbs of groceries. I also use it to carry 10 or 12 bottles of water from the car to the front door. These are the cases you buy at the wholesale warehouses that contain 40 bottles.

  Oodie, I like details in pursuit of the best bag for my travels. That said I purchased the black with the black pack. We travel hard ( small space under seats) and light ( not much stuff), not just planes but those trains. I think the pack will help with train tickets. Yes, I have lost them before. on a platform or somewhere. Weight in ounces works for me.

  I hope you enjoy yours as well. I purchased the floral so it will go with most of our items. I’m just happy that I can add it to the Trolley. Leaving my hands free is a good idea.
