Sam and DG2
I love Sam. I love his honesty and focus. He points out the key aspects of the garments and insists that the models show off the shirts untucked and uncovered. I have Diane to thank for getting me back into slacks way back (19years ago?) when she brought in slacks,a model called “Amanda”, not jeans. I bought her slacks in all colors, even though the fabric in some of the colors was different. I retired four years ago (teacher) and donated most of my clothes, including the DG slacks (kept a green loaden). They still looked perfect and I wore at least one of them once a week. Those slacks got a bad wrap because the center seam would come undone (true), but I have a sewing machine. They had a very wide “bell” leg opening and I took them in to make them a modified boot cut. Hurray for sewing machines. I always wanted to acknowledge and thank Diane for coming up with those slacks. And thank you Sam for your knowledge and great delivery.

Sam talks about Diane basically in the past tense. When she stopped airing herself, she said that nothing was changing behind the scenes. But it seems by the words that he uses that someone else is making her designs now.
