thank all of you for caring about the treatment of animals, the pictures of how cashmere is sourced is horrible.

It’s nice to see all of you here concerned about animals. Since we are also speaking about testing on animals and buying ‘safe’ cosmetics, I will also add to consider buying products that are Fair Trade, which works to ensure there is no child labor involved..

I totally agree. I saw Iman’s gorgeous jackets, but lambskin – can’t bring myself to wear it? It’s really not PC these days and faux leather can be just as stylish.

I absolutely agree. I’ve seen so many shoes & boots that I’ve liked recently, but they’re all leather or suede. That’s a no-buy from me. And for anyone that thinks eating animals is the same, I don’t do that either. I was a senior in high school when it finally hit me how much cruelty is involved in what I was eating, and I became a vegetarian right then & there. I also don’t support companies that test their products on animals.

Not really the same. Skins are pulled off of living animals. Much cheaper that way.
I dont eat anything with a face.

What about people who eat beef and lamb? It’s the same thing.

Agree completely. Was going to watch but when I saw it was dead baby lambs immediately changed the channel. Will not watch or support this animal killing for vanity.

I agree with all my heart ~ thank all of you for caring, we need to stop this abhorrent cruelty. I’ve been an animal activist for a long time and have many friends who rescue animals from all over the world and bring them back to the U.S. for medical care and adopting.

I agree 100%. I am surprised to see real leather on here since most designers have now stopped using real leather. Disappointed in Iman.
