Old Lady Clothes, Really.

I don’t agree. Iman has had big tent like mu mu’s with a matching headband. It reminded me of something liz taylor would have worn in the 1950s. Plus she doesn’t create anything in any fabric besides polyester.
I haven’t bought clothes in years except Candace Cameron’s linen long sleeved shirts last year on the Q that I like very much. It isn’t worth the return fee to have to return clothes.

Funny, my mom was a QVC junkie. Me, I always seemed to gravitate to HSN. I enjoyed watching the hosts almost from the time they began. I found their jewelry to be priced right and the clothing beautiful. Seldom, if ever did I return anything. QVC’s cooking shows were Ok and I liked the fact that they were able to make a few dishes in the studio. HSN in those days sold pots and pans and then after the takeover by Barry Diller it became a National Success. There were new vendors. Clothing line were brand names. Jewelry as well. The former owners were John Malone and Liberty Communications. However, he is once again the owner and subsequently the reason for the downfall again. As I said in a previous post, I think this was a hostile takeover. I’m seeing the signs that were in the past. Loss of customers, loss of vendors, basement styles, and the list goes on and on. I see often where management asks for our reviews, but, what happens to those reviews. I have never seen a response, so now why bother. The TSV I agree is questionable. Over a year ago I saw those same T-Shirts when we made a stop at one of the factory outlets when we headed North. I didn’t purchase them then, and I don’t think I will purchase one now. I won’t bore you with the price, suffice to say they were alot less expensive at the Outlet. I’m also kicking myself on a purse I purchased. It’s $30 less at one of the retail shops on line. And, oh yes, free shipping. I still think Malone purchased HSN, to make it a basement store or better yet, to close it down permanently so that QVC could rise again.

I just took a look at the DG2 Today Special they are t shirts. If I wore t shirts I would not buy these they are quite unattractive the sleeves are not the design of the shirt and neither is the back. Cheap looking. Diane is suppose to be the hip designer?

I so agree with JADiva’s post. Qvc has ruined hsn.

Wow, I thought it was just me! The clothing is awful here and the shoes are worse. I’m 61 and I don’t want to look 91. I am a Marla Wynne girl and I love the pieces with clean lines. If she would ever leave HSN, I’m right behind her.

I’m in my late 60’s I buy a piece of clothing rarely from HSN I recently purchased a few of Anthony’s button down shirts on clearance and a Lopez TS that I am waiting for. I am super disappointed in Iman’s line I purchased a few pieces they were very cheap looking and nothing special. It’s no longer “fun” here. I miss the days of the real designers like Randolph Duke.

This is all QVC influence, which has always been the dowdy channel. I am 62 and agree I won’t wear anything on HSN, except some Marla Wynne pieces. The quality and style are awful now. By the way 70 is the new 50.
