New Models
The new models in west chester are terrible. Need someone that knows how to model the clothing. Please do something, this makes HSN look cheap.
-
I think these models are very good.
-
Callie should be giving the medels’ sizes.
-
Yes!! That was driving me nuts! Sizes please, especially since they are new and we don’t know.
-
-
I totally agree with you, these models are nothing like our beautiful HSN models. It is not my intention to be mean but they look like they were randomly picked up from the streets. That being said HSN will lose customers with these type of models.
-
I think you are being mean saying they look like they have been picked up from the street. That is a nasty thing to say. These models are being trained; they are new to HSN. Give them a chance. Face reality, the Florida models are not moving to Pennsylvania. I’m sure if they wanted to relocate, they would. This move to PA is a decision to save both HSN and QVC due to economic conditions currently occurring world-wide. The models, I believe, are trying very hard to show the garments to the audience in a very professional way.
-
It’s not being mean. The fact that the models are new to HSN shouldn’t make a difference, so far they look bored, unprofessional, and almost scary. I hope this all gets resolved and it keeps HSN alive, but….let’s hope…I’ve shopped with HSN over 15 years, maybe this move will save me lots of money.
-
I thought it was just me and being too picky. Thank you for your input.

These models are horrible!!! Many times what makes us (at least me) buy the clothes, the makeup etc. is how the model looks, and presents herself and the product she is advertising. One envision oneself this way, also having different size models is great, so we can compare how something might look on us. I love HSN but not happy with the change and will miss everyone who I won’t see again.
-
I agree wholeheartedly! I love Anthony but the little Asian girl looks completely bored and what’s with her sticking her stomach out everywhere? The Other Woman at least looks like she’s enjoying wearing Anthony’s clothes and he’s a fabulous designer

Your feedback will be passed along. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
-
So let’s give them a chance.
-
I agree to give them a chance also. Some seem good and experienced and some need some practice. There was a FL model who started out a little stiff and does a great job now. They will be fine. If not, I’m sure HSN will work with them or let them go.
-
I am just use to the old models I watch Qvc also and I am use to their models also it is just too much all at once I will try to adjust
-
I have to agree with you on that! It’s just alot of change all at once…
-
-
Regardless of who they hire…. Those models are doing a job I would never want in a million years. It’s gotta be boring, hard on your feet and back and faking enthusiasm all day would give me a migraine.
-
We apologize for the inconvenience. We completely understand it will make it easier to judge what size you need when you know the models’ sizes. We will pass your feedback along.

The OG model, Joy, runs one of the modeling agencies that provides QVC with their models. It makes sense that her agency would provide the HSN models too. With Katia as the instructor, they have a chance. But so far, they either look bored or they are trying too hard to be runway models on a Victoria Secret show. Hopefully they will find their groove.
One thing that is painfully obvious…the crew is new and things are so disjointed. The old producers, along with working with the hosts for years, made for a well-oiled machine. Tina had to wait for direction for just about 20 seconds, which is a lifetime on live TV. It’s really obvious the new producers do not know what they are doing or are trying to train the hosts to do it their way. Growing pains are horrible. Callie really messed up by not giving the measurements. The production staff isn’t helping with no graphics with the info on the side of the screen.

I know a couple of HSN Florida producers came up to Pennsylvania and have relocated. Kevin and Brian, who are producers from QVC, moved over to HSN. So, they are not inexperienced. Yes, Katia is training the new models, and some of them appear to be new at this. At least, new to live modeling in a studio. Some may have been print models, etc. Yes, Joy, was a model, mostly beauty, on QVC for years. She married and opened her own agency, Joy Model Agency. It seems like most, but not all, of the models are with Joy. Some are with Joy and Reinhard, Some may be independent and booked directly. We just need patience, and all will be well. This is a new undertaking, and it will take time. They will get their groove eventually.

I miss Kenyah
-
I agree. She has such a beautiful smile and lights up the room. I will miss all the HSN models. I remember when Natalie was modeling (I think that was her name. Really tall with long dark hair). I remember Sonya too.

They’re not the greatest right now,but I’ll give them a chance to be great!Takes time to fit in.Everyone needs to chill and give these ppl a chance! Geez! Get some patients!

I try to not be superficial but the models now on HSN are extremely unprofessional. In their appearance, modeling techniques, and general performance. Kenya, Victoria, Brooke, etc gave HSN a professional look.
Another point that I wanted to make is that QVC is more expensive than HSN. I used to shop at QVC and purchased Royal Dalton, Waterford Limoges China.
My last point that I want to make is that QVC can’t compete with Jay King, G by Guilina, and Curtis Stone… just to mention a few. -
Whoever is styling the models must have a fixation about wearing sunglasses on the top of their head. That looks RIDICULOUS on the HSN models, especially EVERY SINGLE outfit with different vendors. Poor Felicia the other day. I felt for her. Then the model for Kate Bendel’s Nina Leonard shows today had sunglasses on the top of her head. I was happy to see that she only showed up once. Have they thought about scarves, hats, other things that just shoving a pair of sunglasses on the top of the model’s head? It doesn’t finish the look.

I felt for the chorus show today. They had the same two models that need so much help! I don’t remember their names but the little African-American girl was bent over barely had any of the suds to wash her leg didn’t even wash the knee and all I saw was the top of her unkept head. They didn’t even style her hair it was everywhere! If I didn’t already love k o r r e s I would not have ever even thought about buying their product. The vendors need to stand up and do something because obviously HSN upper management isn’t going to. As far as that goes whoever’s training them should have been in PA months ago training these models and letting them cut their teeth on QVC actually.
