Models wearing SKIN TIGHT pants.
Does anyone else find the pants some of the models wear too skin tight?
It creates pulls and wrinkles making the garment look cheap.
I’m watching Iman and the model wearing the white denim looks like she was going to burst from all directions. Curves are great and should be celebrated but we need to present them at their best.

I always rely on the “garment measurements” rather than HSN sizing chart. Even in the same designer clothes, the measurements can vary quite a bit. Example: In Iman palazzo pants, I take a petite small, but when I ordered her pointe knit boot cut, they were way too small in the same size. I learned a lesson and had to exchange the knit pants for a larger size.

Oh, my goodness, yes! I was watching the Q yesterday and the host said something like “this is how the pants are supposed to fit” indicating the current on air model. She said the model on the video and in the pictures online is wearing a size too small. I thought HOORAY! Someone is speaking truth. Iman’s ponte pants fit me like a dream. I buy my normal size, that will fit me without it being skin tight and they look fabulous. I see the lumps and bumps on some of the models and I just feel sorry for them as this is not flattering nor does it look “sexy”. Iman has had some photo alterations on her hang tags on the clothing. She is an example of a strong, older adult woman who doesn’t need photo alteration or plastic surgery.

I agree. The models wearing Iman’s pants last week fit so tight. The crotch looked weird too. I really like Iman & used to buy her clothes but the quality is so bad. Like others, I don’t see anything on HSN I would wear. What happened to the good designers??

I agree with all the comments. My question is ” Why can’t the people who dress them see how they present the clothing. QVC does the same thing. Only over there the hosts wear the wrong sizes. Doesn’t make any sense. We come in all sizes- Own your own ladies.

I have long felt that most of the models are in a size too small in jeans and other pants and that it does sometimes cheapen the look of the garment. It seems everyone wants to revel in wearing a size lower than their regular size and it often is not flattering.

I totally agree. I watched one presentation of leggings and the camera, unknowingly, picked up a pull in the fabric on one leg. The models would look so much prettier in the correct sizing. A lot has changed in the quality of clothing. I have bought some clothing from both HSN and QVC the past 2 years and have been surprised at how thin the fabric is and how the material frays and pulls easily. Some clothing is still made in China.

That’s normally a strong sign that you need to size up in that particular style.
I pay attention to everything. When they say they’re in their true size, I look at how it fits the models and that’s how I determine what size I should purchase.
I very rarely have had to return items because of my hawk 👀.
