Models for DG2
I am home sick today and watching two hours of DG2 fashions. The models are lovely. However, given that this brand is targeting older women, perhaps we could have more older models so we can get a true sense of how the garments look on an older body. I own a lot of DG2 and love the brand.
I think that Yaz is GORgeous…. I sometimes wish that HSN would let the models help by teaching us to walk as they do.
In addition to older models, I would love to see some petite models. I am 5’2″ and it is sometimes difficult to judge how tunics and longer tops will look on us shorties.
Last night i saw a mature woman modeling alot of the clothes for DG2 i think they show alot of ages BUT IT CAN BE FOR WOMEN IN THEIR 30S, 40S, 50, 60 70 AND BEYOND. They show heavier girls and thinner girls. i think they do a good job with the models. MAYBE WHEN YOU TUNE IN YOU ONLY SEE THE YOUNGER. No one is in their 20s. They range from mid 30s to late 60s. and also Diane who is 75 but i definitely saw an OLDER WOMAN modeling last night for hours. She has short blonde hair and is very thin and tall. But she is definitely older. Not elderly but older. very attractive pretty lady.
I SEE models that are a bit older they bring on.
one of them is 42. and i see an older woman that comes up. Their presenters are also wearing the clothes and are in the 50’s. some 60 plus as well as Diane wearing the clothes WHO LOOKS AMAZING AT 75!!!!. .
I know they have older models. I just think that if they make such a strong point about the clothes being for older women who other designers have left behind, they should show more of those women. Maybe only have older models that show. Just my humble opinion.
Hi MaryF1962, I like your suggestion about having more of an age variety in the models.
I love Diane Gilman and her brand. Her cloths are top-drawer stylish, really last, and keep looking great.
And speaking of looking great, wow, Diane looks beautiful, I love her hair that way, she’s fit, her skin is amazing, and her attitude, as always, is wonderful.
She’s really been through some extremely trying times, and has risen out of all that like the true champion that she is. Diane’s a New York girl with beauty, brains, and the right stuff.
We Love you Diane ~ group Hugs 🙂
Stay Safe all and have a beautiful day 🙂
