Lamb Purses
Killing lambs to make a purse makes me sad and angry!

I think PugNose above is correct. The animals are killed for meat, not for their skin. I’m pretty sure leather is a by-product.

If you eat meat at all and you are not vegan than buying leather or lamb skin bags should not bother you because people eat lamb and beef. I do not eat lamb at all and rarely eat beef, yet I will buy leather & prefer it to faux leather.
Yet, I do not see what they do to the animals so ignorance is bliss.
Most people eat chicken and if you were to visit a poultry farm u probably would never eat chicken again.
What we don’t know, see or smell sometimes prevents us from making different choices. -
The only thing aboutfaux is that the life of the item is much shorter than animal skin. If the animal is killed for food, then why not use the leather so that all of the animal is used since the animal’s life was taken. To each her own…right?

Faux can look divine if it’s good faux, and I, like many, stopped buying real dead animal skins whilst still ima 20s. Decades ago. I can find faux for all my so-called leather goods. Even my sneakers.

Agreed but they are killed anyway for lamb chops.
