Joy Mangano $50 off coupons

I received (5) $10 off coupons from a recent Joy Mangano purchase. The coupon states $10 off your next Joy Mangano order of $50 or more. Today I decided to use one of the $10 off coupon to purchase 2 pairs of the Joy performance clean and cool ultra smooth power capri leggings. Each one was $39.95, totaling $79.90 before taxes. I applied the coupon code and it said invalid. I called customer service and the representative said that the coupon can only be used on a single purchase of $50. I was very disappointed because both items together totaled more than $50 which was $79.90. The coupon doesn’t state for a single item…it says order of $50 or more.
