I purchased two pairs of DG2 ITEM 911-492 knit denim jeans and returned them both they smelled horrible even after washing three times. I left a review within the guidelines with 1 star the inseam wasn’t sewn correctly they smelled and the slit at the ankle was sloppy looking. They ran true to size but definitely not worth the money and would not keep them if they were free.
HSN IS GOING TO SHOW THESE JEANS AGAIN TONIGHT FRIDAY 9/26/25 & I LEFT THE REVIEW two days ago they did not post it they wouldn’t dare hurt their chances of selling more of these horrible jeans tonight.
I find it terrible that they pick and choose which reviews get posted especially when it comes to DG2 and they have a lot of stock to push off onto their unsuspecting customers.
I find it dishonest.

All DG jeans have had a horrible smell for me but tend to fit my body well. Sam says they use real indigo which most manufacturers do not and I wonder if this is the smell of the indigo.

I just washed a new pair that fits like a dream, very comfortable, but washed about 8 times before I got 90% of the odor out.

I wore them yesterday and the smell has lessened. One has to use a pre-wash, a regular wash, and double rinse. Also use something like an oxyclean product. Then do the same wash again. This takes off some of the odor. Some is the operative word.

I give up on DG2. They are not the same as when Diane owned the company.
