Increase in prices after reduction?
I am surprised that HSN’s new management is increasing prices after item has already been reduced for some time i.e. Marla Wynne’s Double-Faced Knit Drama Topper 631-041 was reduced to $79.00 (I bought 2 ) and now at $114.00. If this is QVC’s influence, I don’t like it. Also, there is sadly no more ‘save 1/2 on shipping’ which has completely gone and makes me think twice when I buy.

Could be they raised the price because of additional inventory that arrived, where they paid more and thus raised the prices. I’ve seen this in many department and other retail stores. However, on the opposite spectrum, I found a pair of shoes I really loved. The price was more than I was willing to spend. Add on tax and shipping and the end result was way over $100.So, I started looking around and found that the retail price on HSN was $10 more than it should have been. Seems the manufacturer still had the original listing price, plus, it was on sale for $60 less. and free shipping to boot. You really need to do your homework.

queenvictoria I also had the same thing happen with a pair of Steve Madden boots. Were on Clearance at $69.00 for the longest time, then went up to $200.99. – when the original full price was $199.99 – I thought it would be adjusted and was a mistake. Nope – they are holding strong @ $199.99! Definitely seeing the Q influence takeover. Not happy.
