How About Some Men's Fashion?
My husband is 6’6″ tall and it is so hard to find stylish clothes for him. He’s a size Large Tall. When he shops Big and Tall it really means Nerdy and Tall. I see Antthony on air right now presenting a jogger suit, and I’m thinking, “Hey, I want to buy the jacket YOU’RE wearing Antthony!” I don’t know if he makes his own clothes or buys them, but I think there is a real opportunity here. Just like HSN offers different lengths and sizes for women, why not for men?

MaryF1962, I think that is a fabulous idea! Never thought about it before but now I’m wondering why none of the shopping channels have fashions for men of all sizes. There are plenty of men who fall into this category.

My husband is big and tall. He has many places to buy for his size. Online has been King Size, Columbia, Amazon has a big and tall shop. Brick and mortar have been Macy’s, Dillard’s, Penney’s, Rural King(of all odd places), Sears if you can still find one open, and Men’s Wearhouse.

I’m looking for more style and pizzazz than I find at places like Sears (we still have one) and Penneys. Just like for women’s clothes, there’s plane jane stuff and ooh-la-la stuff. I’m looking for ooh-la-la for my man LOL! I think I just need to win the lottery so he can have custom designer clothes :).

I don’t think there’s much of a demand for men’s clothing.
Your husband may already be doing this, but I think specialty shops are his best bet.

The specialty shops cater to the BIG more than the TALL and have so little selection. I scour Macy’s and Kohl’s (they both have big and tall) online regularly and sometimes find something nice, but it’s mostly plaid, jeans, grandpa sweaters and such. The Q has men’s skincare now, so who knows, maybe down the road!
