Why are SO many items on these shopping channels manufactured in China? Cant we have more items made in the USA?

Agreed. I have started checking the country of origin in the product description. Trying to only buy made in the USA, but it’s not easy when shopping on TV.

Because Americans wouldnt pay what it would cost to make the item here. For the identical quality, it simply isn’t cost effective. If the price jumped 30% or more, sales would plummet.

Teresa1inTn, you may already be aware but in case you are not, there are places online to buy made in America products. You can search online and find at least a few of them.
