gilman today special
so, wondering how hsn works now??? Hadnt bought her jeans in quite a while, due to sizing issues. Got sucked in. They were pretty. ok ordered 2 pair. She touted go down a size. Did, & sorry, as the 1st pr. arrived today & I wanted to scream. Too small. Ok went to post review states I didn’t order this product. Usually states too soon to write review. lol Guess that’s our cool down period. Went to ck status of 2nd pr. What??? on back order? I would never have ordered. Actually glad, I guess cause they wouldn’t fit anyway so cancelled. IF I EVER get sucked in to order again, must remember to not even listen to what she & host say. Bunch of hooey. size down blah blah blah.

LOL, “cool down period ” Love it! 😁😁

Haven’t bought her jeans (or anything) in years because of the size up no size down no get your regular size and the stinky chemical smell. I don’t know of any brand that you have to play this game. I recently bought her velvet jean the fabric is some cheap that does not look or feel like velvet. Why oh why did I think this would be OK.

Patty, I am laughing at myself right now, as I so wanted forrest green jeans, so ordered 2 sizes, of the velvet, and yep, fabric was icky & returned as well! The black jeans are the once I found really stinky,

It’s not that hard to figure out your size. I size down two sizes on virtual stretch, and get my usual store size for all the Classic stretch. I think Diane does a great job with her jeans, but she’s not a miracle worker. I don’t know what you expect. Yes, some of her jeans have a weird smell, and I have noticed it with some of the department store jeans also. Sometimes, I keep them and other times I send them back. There can be a discrepancy in her tall and regular lengths at times…but I just send them back if they don’t work. I have the gray velvet and love the fit and the look (to each his own). That’s what is so great about HSN…the flex pay and the return policy. You can always go to the department store and buy your jeans for $100 plus. So much whining and complaining 🙁

You did a great job quinci, reprimanding the customer who believed in the parameters of the presentation. Bravo… hope you get the HSN cookie of the year award! So tired of people coming down on the customer who believed in the presentation of the host/vendor. Where is the accountability? Maybe the flex pay allows you to excuse away mis-represention. And I get sometimes things will not fit, agree with or flatter everyone…I am not unreasonable. But when a product is exaggerated or grossly misrepresented, that company needs to take back the item…no questions asked. How do you explain classic denim all of a sudden having to be sized down when we’ve been instructed for years to stick with our normal size?
-
Skingirl13 thank you, if I responded to being called whiney, it wouldn’t have been as nice as you were. I would have mentioned that perhaps exaggerating is just as bad as complaining. I have purchased many great jeans at stores for much less than $100. Flex pay? Too difficult for me to keep track of, and if I have to worry about getting flex pay, gee perhaps I am spending beyond my means. Every store I shop at has a 30 return policy, longer over the holidays, aaannnnndddd, I do not have to pay $9.00 to return. Oops guess I am whining/complaining again. Ah, guess its because I am old & Polish. lol. Oh, my “cooling off/time out” period is over….gonna go write my review!!!!

“I don’t know what you expect” (insert chuckle) I don’t think you are understanding if I buy a brand once I find the correct size no matter what style it’s the same size. At this point her jeans are subpar if that’s OK for you continue to purchase. People and myself are not whining they are stating facts sizes are different and the jeans smell.

I bought three of the Today’s special jeans. I always wear a size 12. That is my normal size.
The black pair, I could button. The navy pair was more like a size 8, way too small and the Phoenix embroidered pair too small, but not as bad as the navy. They were all marked size 12. The black pair had hand fulls of fabric behind the knees, the others did not. I couldn’t wear them, back they went. Beautiful jeans, but sizing way off. I still have her original jeggings. Of all her jeans they still fit me the best, but are getting too worn out.

What would a day be if no one complained about Diane Gillman and or her jeans?

What would a day be like if no one complained about the arcade games?

Yes, you are whiners as well as snarky. You don’t like the jeans and now there’s a new passive-aggressive blow, flex pay. So, if you don ‘t understand how it works, it’s people not deep enough in the pockets who only use it? I call that, “fox and the grapes.”
Stop disparaging a product many people enjoy and have no problem fitting in as well those who know how to use flex pay and have the means to buy a product outright if they chose.

Hahaha…you make me understand how silly I appeared to others when I took out my sword to slay ANYONE who didn’t like Oprah. How dare you…!!! I eventually learned people are really entitled to their own experience. To paraphrase Pattyf. What line requires…size up on this but down on this? If Sherryrose, listened to the most recent TS presentation and was told to size down-classic stretch and she did, why critique her? Sicko fans are running rampant in all areas of life. Oh, you’re whining and being snarky. How ridiculous! Why are you taking it personal when someone expresses an alternative opinion of someone you like? Do you cry and have a tantrum when you read reviews that don’t mirror yours? Po thang.

skingirl13, I find your comments delightfully outspoken ( besides the fact u stuck up for me!!l.) I figure you are a great distance from me. I am in Illinois, but do remember if u ever happen to be in this area, I would be absolutely delighted to take you out for lunch/dinner. email, oh oh, perhaps icky stuff will be sent. —-sherryrose190p@yahoo

I bought all three denim TS jeans in my normal DG size 10T and they all fit nicely. There was no funky smell either. The navy brocade looks like $150 pr of jeans.
