G by Giuliana Todays Special – Lamb Skin Jacket

Me and my mother have navy, red, white grey shearling etc. which were all purchased from HSN. I was a new HSN shopper when Teri was on, but my mother had been shopping a few years before I joined.

On Giuliana’s designs, I agree that her clothing feels like clothing designed for her. I stopped buying her designs when I realized that she did not care about comments received from her followers. I actually watched her respond (sideways) about the length of pants (which some are too long for the average woman)…she mentioned that you can wear them with the tall heels…Ha! Maybe I am just burned out with HSN!

I remember Teri Lewis Leathers! Her pieces were timeless, and the quality was unmatched. It’s great to hear you still have some of her styles in rotation—a classic leather jacket never goes out of fashion! The vibrant colors and unique designs really made a statement. It’s always special to have those lasting favorites in our wardrobes. What’s your favorite piece from her collection?

I bought a long coat of Giuliana’s special value. Took a while to get. It looked lovely but the arms were sewed on wrong. Wasn’t made in America. Too late to return. This jacket is cropped which I don’t care for. Not many people wearing cropped around here. I like 3/4 sleeves, covers my butte. I also wasn’t fond of them being lamb skin. I bought a dress of Siriano’s that had a ruffle down the sleeve. I looked like big bird only red. Oman’s clothes I used to love but quality is way down. I’m really starting to see that what they are showing is not what you are getting. They must have been sewn for that host.

drama1queen – Before I gave up real leather for clothing and accessory pieces, I too owned Terry Lewis. 4 of her lamb jackets – which have all been gifted to a work friend that doesn’t have the same passion I have for animals. I must say those were extremely well made and gorgeous, still very in style today and she looks great in them. And no, I don’t miss leather at all.

Frankly, I don’t care what she’s selling. 13 hours of G in a 24 hr period is overdone .. and yes, I know several of those hours are repeat overnight airings.
It’s just so tedious that HSN runs one product line for so many hours in any given day. If it’s not G, it’s DG2, or IMAN, or whatever the Soup du Jour happens to be.
Must be losing vendors
And for anyone who suggests changing the channel, I do.

I really like this jacket in all the colors. My issue is that it is 23.5 inches that is not a good length for a top to end on me I like 25 inches. I still have several Terri lewis jackets and pants she sure was a wonderful leather and suede designer. When Shariff was here he had offered a leather jacket that I still have in black and brown still soft as butter.

I love Genuine leather in Jackets not faux. I own quite a few at least 20 if not more & they are expensive. A couple of the genuine leather jackets I purchased years ago from QVC they fit perfect which is hard being I am petite & a couple are from G that are from years ago when she made a couple of genuine leather jackets. They were more cropped, and the arms weren’t too long, so they fit me perfect.
I wish this one came in petite it looks like it is well made even the buttons she improved on they use to hang off of her faux leather jackets these seem to be secured & lay flat on the jacket.
I blame HSN for these designers not making more petites & tall garments.
HSN is just not up to snuff with the likes of QVC. In quality & sizing for all people.
I believe Giuliana makes some very quality garments like this jacket not everything, but I see her as extremely self-serving & self-centered.
If she were not an XXS that would not be a size she would even think of carrying in her line.
She makes sure she covers herself & what she has to as far as for big women. Anything else that doesn’t affect her she will not make. She doesn’t listen to her customers at all.
It is all about G. Very elitist & selfish.

I am sure she does not care but I will not buy any of her products now that she uses so many animal skins. These animals die a cruel death, the pictures are online for all to see. I realize this is just my opinion.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion which is what makes the world go around. I happen to love the leather jacket that G by Giuliana has on Today’s Special. Leather is not going anywhere and if you don’t like it just don’t buy it. Simple as that! It happens to be stylish, well made and well priced in today’s world. The faux leather I have seen (used to be called “pleather”, is simply plastic or vinyl, but labeled many things.

I find it disgusting that anyone would sell a real leather jacket much less one made from lamb a baby animal. Will not Probably ever purchase anything from her again. HSN should also be ashamed of themselves.

The Teri Lewis days were so long ago I’m sure not many people on the air today even know who she was. As far as the today’s special, I think it is overpriced. Also, I don’t care for double breasted jackets. They make you look wide in the mid-section. Of course, Giuliana looks good in it because she is so skinny she can wear anything.
