Frumpy old lady clothes

I agree!!! Shoes have gotten really bad. Frumpy and although FitFlop has a few cute things enough already. And the Colleen Lopez fashions have way too much going on. She is not up with the times or with fashion! I do buy Marla Wynne but I am a petite woman and her clothes look giant on me. They need to DUMP Tony Little!! Who wants to buy that garbage.
Quality is hit or miss too with her stuff. Some of it is good & then some are not.
QVC clothes are really awful. They have OneWorld which you can buy at Walmart and Fingerhut!
The clothes here at HSN are starting to look just like QVC.
About 3 to 4 years ago HSN was really getting some great stuff in but not anymore.
Guliana is good, Sheryl Crow, what happened to her! Skinny girl is good. Curations just okay. Some stuff is good but stop already with the embroidered gauze!
Hsn NEEDS TO CHANGE and go BACK to 3 years ago or more and be like they used to be.

I AM A RECENT HSN Shopper. needed to redo my wardrobe due to wait loss and i am sick of the old garbage that i just cleaned out of my closet
i loved Diane’s ponte blazer and pants. just bought them in BLACK, LEOPARD, BROWN AND SNAKE GREEN.
I BOUGHT A GREAT SOFT SWEATSHIRT OF HERS AND A JOGGER PANT TO MATCH. I DON’T FIND HER CLOTHES frumpy at all. not in love with the easy tank. too big and boxy for me.
but her pants really hit it on the mark and are very comfy and classy too.
iman had some nice tanks. the rest of her stuff i don’t care for. too much pattern
Bought some skinny girl. pants run either too long or too tight to size.
tops are cute. I like some of thelines and colors. i like how the waist is more comfy and the legs are narrow.

SINCE HSN went with QVC, which has the worst customer service….what’s up with the ugly clothes ..very frumpy , old , not flattering at all…WHAT’S GOING ON…

My mom at 82 wore the exact looking jacket as Diane Gilman’s today special. She bought it at a thrift store in the 80’s. Nothing very special about this jacket except that it is especially frumpy. However, to each their own taste.

I noticed the clothing is more focused on very young or older consumers. I bought a few Joan Boyce tops and from Grier! Looks like, they are leaving too. Heidi, don’t leave us, please! We need a reason to get excited to watch HSN.

well today tops it. Frumpy meets hunting lodge. Really Camo pants and a matching sweater for lounging around ? I am so confused. I guess this is a thing. Like Camo pants are in my category of things I will never wear. G Strings and Camo pants . Navy Camo and what is scary it sold out. Nothing says fashion and spa day like camouflage, Said no one ever.

Trash all your current designers from Kmart & bring in some of the Von Maur designers.

Why are celebrity clothing pieces so expensive? Vanessa Williams is a singer and actress, why would I pay more for a name? Bring back the designers you let fall by the wayside HSN. I’m more than disappointed in the shoe offerings – they stink. If my mother was alive and lived in a Nursing home, I would buy shoes from HSN for her.

I just happened upon this conversation but I must agree, the clothes that HSN are offering are beyond frumpy and cheap looking. I’m no spring chicken but I just refuse to have a closet full of things that look like they came from walllmart. With the exception of Marla Wynne, I buy little or nothing in the clothing lines carried. I listen to the constant complaints about Marla Wynne prices and wonder to myself just where these women have been shopping. tHE SHOES ARE NO BETTER- HOW FAR THEY HAVE FALLEN. iT’S APPARENT THE qvc OBJECTIVE IS TO TOTALLY DESTROY THE hsn BRAND- THEY ARE DOING AN EXCELLENT JOB. wITH THE BAIT AND SWITCH PRICES AND THE RIDICULOUS SHIPPING AND HANDLING THAT IS MIRROWING qvc, IT WON’T BE LONG. i KNOW i’LL SAVE QUITE A BIT OF MONEY BUT WHAT A SHAME. oNLINE SHOPPING WILL EVENTUALLY KILL THEM ALL.

I still buy Antthony, MarlaWynne, DG2 and basic Slinky dresses. I can’t think of anything else I buy anymore. HSN used to have a lot of exclusives. But now it’s things that I can get out there, items that look like everything else. What we’re looking for are things that are different like before. Not the same-o same-o.
I understand companies change but I don’t think HSN changed for the best.

I have to agree. I’m no fashion plate but most of the clothes now look like my grandma & I”m almost 60!. I still have clothes from Hal, older Colleen Lopez, Liz Lange , Randolph Duke etc.
As for Dianne’s jeans, they’re the only ones I wear due to my body shape. I have jeans from 10 years ago.

I think it went downhill when Mindy Grossman left and now under QVC it’s gotten worse.

Has anyone bought Marla Wynne’s collection? They seem quite expensive, but I guess not for designer choices. I liked one of her blouses, but most of the collection is quite “wide” and I’m not a small woman.

Agreed! HSN’s clothes have gotten cheap & frumpy. I’m 59 but don’t want to look like my Grandmother did 50 years ago. The material & styles looks like they came straight out of Walmart. I too miss the good designers like Hal Rubenstein & IMAN back in the day–not now.

As far as Joy, I kinda miss her. I love her hangers, steamer & some of her early luggage pieces were nice. Several of her other items were junk.
