Fall fashion
What has happened to hsn’s fall fashion? Usually by now I’ve seen a couple of fall tsvs including riding boots. So far what little fall fashion they have presented does not interest me one bit. It’s a shame I used to love the beginning of August because of the fall fashion. It’s my favorite time of the year. I’m very disappointed so far! ☹️

Even down here in southwest Florida, I love the fall/winter outfits. Wear them when it gets below 60º or so and when I have to travel north. Always looking for some nice leather pieces in colors besides black. The absence of Hal Rubenstein and a couple others are not encouraging.

Zappos is good. I used to buy my son skateboarding sneakers back in the day on Zappos when they were hard to find locally. Now Zappos offer all kinds of shoes. I miss FlexPay as a option. I’ve been kind of doing it on eBay lately. I copy the shoes I like on HSN and paste it on eBay and see what comes up. I used to do the same for Amazon. Alot of time the shoes at HSN is selling, you can get brand new at either of those places for way less than what HSN or Zappos is selling. I’m just surprised at the lack of fall fashion on HSN. QVC has already had their fashion day. HSN in past years has usually had at least a slinky fall fashion special value and a boot special value from like Vince camuto or one of the other designers by now. Heck we’re in the middle of August already. Usually by October they’re shoving out the winter stuff.

Yeah, that flex pay is hard to give up but it also makes it too easy to buy more than you need. I do wish Zappos had flex pay but it forces me to not do any impulse shopping. A girl could lose her mind at Zappos! Lol!

I was JUST thinking about how I would love to see some boots. I have some great Iman riding boots that I let my daughter have, so now I need new ones. We’ll see!

I haven’t seen many (if any) riding boots here recently. Booties seem to be the big thing the past couple of seasons. Check out Zappos; they have good prices and free 24 hr. shipping. Free returns and exchanges too. I’ve bought some riding boots here but it was a few years ago from Naturalizer, Sam Edelman and Steve Madden. I hope they bring some in this year. There is nothing quite as classic as a good riding boot! Happy shopping! 😀

Fall fashion is my favorite as well. August through December is when I normally owe HSN a mortgage payment. I’m really doing better with not over spending. But something happens to my brain when I see boots, jackets and cozy layering pieces. The one good thing is my wallet is happy.

LOL! I hear ya on the mortgage payment sized shopping! I have cut back too (big time) but something happens to my brain also when I see boots, jackets, cuddly sweaters, scarves, oh, and let’s not forget hats! Lol! And I live in CA so I really need to move where it is cooler!
The only thing good about all the vendors leaving is that I don’t shop as much but I sure miss when it was fun and HSN had a good supply of fall fashions. I just found some pink croco leather boots by Sam Edelman at Zappos and have them in my shopping bag there. A girl will always find a way to shop I guess.
I love fall not just for the fashions but football! Time to stock up on some Chicago Bears gear! Yay! Go Bears! 😀 😀 😀 -
Kittengirl, pink crock’s!!! Count me in. I love Zappos! It’s so much easier to look chic in the fall but I decided to narrow my seasonal add on’s to 3-4 pieces and rotate a few old pieces out. I had really got out of control. Hello, my name is Skingirl and I give HSN all my money. But I now have my 90 day chip, LOL!

Go check out the pink boots! Super cute! Yeah, I’m cutting back too by a huge margin! My hubby and kids are so proud of me! I’ve been on a mission this year to clean out and organize so I am bringing less into the house. I recently did the garage after years of being the dumping ground from the renovations. It looked like a hoarders paradise out there! We had the ceiling finished, painted, put in some cabinets and pegboard and used an old door left over from one of the bedrooms for my worktable. It’s so nice and clean now! Today I am going to weed through more in my closet and drawers. I got out of control too and since HSN has lost so many of my fave vendors, it is easier for me now to exhibit some will power. Lol! Thank God for small favors, right? I’m still shopping but like you, have limited myself and plus, I’ve worked so hard cleaning out that I don’t want to bring a lot back in. See you at the next shoppers anonymous meeting! LOL! 😀

I know, same here – love fall fashions and always looked forward to this time of year. HSN used to have some really good vendors and fashions. Hal Rubenstein, Badgley Mishka, Patricia Fields, Twiggy, Carlos Falchi, Randolph Duke, just to name a few. At least Vince Camuto will be on soon. Where is Iman? They said she would be here with her new line for fall. I haven’t seen a Sam Edelman show in a long time. Remember when they actually had a runway for the fall fashions? The good old days…
I wish Barry Diller and Mindy Grossman would come back and save HSN and restore it to it’s good old days. Here’s to hoping! 😀
