Diane gilman last visit in person 11/27

Sad to see Diane go. She will be missed. Her jeans aren’t the same as they were many years ago. I don’t order them anymore. Sent back the ones, that I ordered. Disappointed they feel like plastic. All that stretch, yuck.I like good old-fashioned jeans made out of cotton with a little tiny bit of spandex. They just don’t seem to get it. The so-called designer jeans are awful. Same with the tops, feels so plasticky fake. I like natural fabrics and fibers. Sadly it seems to be getting harder and harder to find good quality clothing.

Guess I am getting accustomed to guy replacing Diane. Suppose he is becoming more knowledgable. Wasnt in the beginning. Guess prejudiced old gal I have difficulty listening to/believing a man telling me how well the clothes fit. I purchased her jeans years ago because they were unique, stud set vs iron on. still have some. To me, kindly do not jump on me for my American right to freedom of speech, as to me, she was self centered, self absorbed, probably a spoiled pampered child whose parents enabled her to have no job vs designing jeans for limited rock stars. Ah how I wish I had been entitled. Hooray she made it. Even on tv, figure she never watched herself or just never got it. She was terribly rude & did talk over hosts with nothing but her activities & who she dined with of the utmost importance. How this world is. Her whatever it is called famous top. Sheesh. Ordered one. Ill fitting. Returned. SHE DID NOT INVENT IT. I still have 2 of Twiggy tops. EXACT SAME TOP, BUT BETTER. Yeah, that’s fame. Reminds me of sickening disgusting susan graver who touts she invented fabric & has a patent. . It was Daniel Kiviat who invented & brought that fabric. He had absolutely awesome perfectly fitting clothes that I still have/wear today. Ah, what money in the right place can do, huh? From the 1st time she said “you would be silly not to buy this” I despised her.

How can the creator of the brand never show her face again. Their is more here then meets the eye. HSN was Diane’s home away from home. Something just doesn’t add up. I looked forward to seeing Diane on Today’s Specials and here and there on fashion Fridays. I am missing you Diane. I watch less and less of HSN. To many changes and not for the better.

Honestly not going to miss seeing Diane. Between her yelling over the hosts and snapping at the hosts and trying to direct everything, she really needs to step away and let others sell her brand. She has steadily been getting more irritated with everything. Sam is a true professional. He was great with one world on shophq. It would be great if they can entice Shivan back as well.

Glad dg is ok. yellow rose you make sense about new guy being calm, etc without the loud etc. I guess I just dont have much interest in her products anymore. So inconsistent with the sizing, that I got aggrivated, and found another designer more consistent. I still occasionally ck site for clearance, but thats about it. Havent really ever much cared for her tops anyway. I do miss years ago when jeans were beautifully decorated, embellishments set with studs so didnt come off in laundry making them unwearable unless I picked off remaining. Guess thats the way of the world now. Showing my age, lol. quality down prices up.

I like the new guy. He’s very calm and informative. No loud talking over the host.

She is fine – health wise. She stated she WANTS to enjoy retired life.

I didn’t know she was retiring! She’s such a survivor. She’ll be missed…
