Christian Siriano
I love Christian, and most of his designs. The more I watch him, the more I think he is imitating Isaac Mizrahi on QVC. Isaac always wears head to toe black, and his “signature word” has aways been “divine” which Christian seems to be saying a lot. No biggie, I love them both, just an observation. Isaac is a fashion Icon, so I can understand why he would imitate him to some degree. It’s a compliment to Isaac.

I’ve LOVED CS since his *PRunway* debut…but found basic pieces at TJM/Marshalls (plus size). Nothing he has shown on H has made me think 2x about purchasing.
Have loved and purchased IM for decades. Only recently have I given his shows a glance— everything had become basic and redundant. I don’t care to hear about wearing a basic T and cigarette pants while strolling 5th Ave or brunching in the Maldives.
The antics and mispronunciation of basic fashion terms by *shaunieSue* is grating. Sidenote: watching either CS/IM makes me truly miss Louis DelOlio……. -
Definitely hard for me to watch QVC! I really can’t understand their mentality selling products.And, I’m the age of possibilities. Just too,extreme for me.I like some of Sariano’s stuff but I won’t buy because sizing scares me around here. I can’t stand thinking of returning something and all the cost involved.JMHO

You forgot to mention the word “like” which Isaac constantly uses. Also “darling” is another word. I used to watch QVC a lot. No more. The unprofessionalism and juvenile antics is what did it for me. The constant repeat of the same-old items became very boring and mundane. Every Sunday the same 3 people were on.

MissKitty, look at all fashion and you’ll see it’s all imitation. Dollars, dollars & more dollars.. Why else would there be 5 million kinds/styles/brands of everything? Besides, every star or influencer thinks they can design their own lines, and yet all they’re doing is imitating everyone else.

That’s true! There is way too much fashion, and I fall for too much of it. But, I was speaking more to how Christian’s own personal style, head to toe black and how he describes his fashions to the exact same way Isaac does. Their fashion designs are actually quite different. They both like colors, but Isaac is much more classic everyday.
