Being untruthful about sizing
Am I the only one who gets upset when HSN hosts are untruthful about what size they are wearing? I feel like the models are always honest, but the hosts aren’t. For example, I would bet every dollar I own that Helen is not a medium, especially in pants. I rely on what the hosts say in addition to the size chart when shopping on HSN. I feel like it’s so misleading.

Absolutely feel hosts are not honest about size. If certain hosts are actually squeezing into size small or extra small then the entire sizing system is way off. Small and extra small are for very skinny people – let’s be real. Makes it very hard for me to judge what to trust and what size I should really buy in a particular item. ( although lately does seem that everyone is using weight loss medicine)

I think both the hosts and the models are in a size bigger than they say. I’ve heard the old saying that TV adds 10 pounds to you. Kenya is on the larger side but not large busted. I personally like to see how the clothing looks on her because she seems very much like normal people.
I do not rely on what anyone says about the garment any longer. I tend to look at the model on the phone app or computer screen. Really look at how the garment fits. I purchased a pair of wonderful pants that had a crushing, painful, girdle like waist. Could not wear them and had to waste money returning them. I realized when I examined the model in the app that she had a wasp like waist, like the old look from girdles and corsets. I should have known this would be uncomfortable.
The models on TV also had on tight sizes. Watch for lumps and bumps on their thighs or pulling across their bust or arms on TV. I should have known. I keep saying this and I finally realized “STOP” ordering to myself.

Wholy agree. Also, several models aren’t wearing clothes that fit their size. Kenya looks to be no larger than an xl. Kara is so thin a size 4 swims on her. Angie, Val, Dagmara are all medium, whereas it’s not believable that Sayla is as well. Helen appears larger than a medium. Bobbie appears smaller than a zero…. just keep in mind the garment size chart, the material content and ignore what they say . believe your own eyes! QVC is the same way, so is ShopHQ.
