Windows in S Mode
What is Windows S-mode?
S-mode is a version of Windows that limits what you can do on your computer.
It’s designed to protect you from malware and viruses by only allowing you to download apps from the Microsoft store.
S-mode also limits access to the system registry and command line.
Why might you want to disable S-mode?
You might want to disable S-mode if you want to be able to make changes to your computer.
You might want to disable S-mode if you want to use a different antivirus program than Microsoft Defender.
You might want to disable S-mode if you want to use a different web browser than Microsoft Edge.
