I have spent 3 months talking to HSN, Microsoft, HP trying to get my free subscription. Microsoft has now billed me for the program that was supposed to be free for one year when I purchased a HP laptop in March. Very frustrating.

We are so sorry you were experiencing difficulties with the activation. That is not the experience we want you to have. We are here to help. Please go to https://account.microsoft.com where you can view the Office 365 subscription details and current installs. Also, you can go to https://products.office.com to view available plans. HP stream products may offer a Microsoft Office 365 Personal subscription for 1 yea, which is available to be used on 1 PC. Hope this helps.
