sinmark scanner

Anyone have trouble getting this to operate? The directions are not very helpful. I am not tech savvy. Of course, the presentations make it sound easy-peasy while mainly talking about colors. Also, we did not receive the USB Split Battery Charger. Can they give some simple 1,2,3 directions??
