I also received the replacement; it’s different. I wonder if they will recall the carbon monoxide detector net.

Having trouble contacting Samuri brand smoke detector recall information!

I have the affected smoke detectors. I have taken the pictures, but I don’t know how to get the pictures to your website Samuraibrands.
Any help that you can given me would be appreciated.

Just an FYI, They send you replacements that are nothing like what was purchased and will not refund the customer. HSN says to contact Samurai and the email bounces back. No way to contact them They sell 300,000 + of these and there is an issue and HSN Ghosts you and will not stand by what they sell. I think its a sin to treat customer this way. I am so done with HSN.
Have never been treated so poorly.I have a call into Management to see if they will do anything. Will update.

Just received the replacement for the Samurai Smoke detector. It is nothing like the ones I ordered from HSN. They sent me cheap ones that need a 9V battery. I called HSN and they said they have nothing to do with the recall. Keep in mind I purchased the original smoke alarms(2) from HSN not Samurai and I paid the HSN bill. HSN should have more respect for their customers and back their products. This is extremely disappointing and I can’t even use these cheap replacements because they are not like the same size of the originals. Shame on you, HSN

I agree! The replacement detector requires a 9 volt battery! They claim the replacement is the only one the government will allow them to send! They removed a word on my first post, cra_!
