Poor Business Practice
I ordered an IPAD Air 4 bundle on November 26th. There was a promised delivery by December 16th. December 16th came and went but I was not overly concerned. On December 18th I received an email that the order had been cancelled. I called customer service and asked for a supervisor. His name was Steve he assured me that the orders that stated cancelled that day were still going to ship and I would receive it by Christmas. I didn’t believe him then and of course no IPAD on my doorstep. I lost all opportunities of getting a similar deal because of the lies and deceit. Steve just wanted me off the phone so guess what HSN has lost another customer.

This doesn’t surprise me at all. I ordered a Diamond Press stamp set, which DP told me was exclusive to HSN like all of their products are when they first come out. Immediately after I’d ordered the item, the status magically changed to ‘extended delivery’, which means they didn’t have stock after all. The estimated delivery date wasn’t too far away, I can’t remember what it was now, I think a couple of weeks or so, but after that date had come and gone plus more time, one day I got an email saying the order had been cancelled because the item had been ‘oversold’. It was for me, not a gift, but nevertheless it’s pretty shabby treatment and entirely preventable. HSN just don’t care. Deception is their middle name. I wouldn’t buy anything from them at all any more if I didn’t like DP. DP sometimes eventually sell some of their own items, but not always, otherwise I’d just wait and buy them from DP. Their customer service is excellent.
