So I was super excited about ordering my new laptop with HSN, so I went ahead and placed my order and then it was canceled! But HSN took my money. Like I hate this website it is extremely a big inconvenience. Now I have to wait days and days for a refund. Why take someone’s money of the order didn’t ship !!!!!!!!!! THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE AND OUTRAGEOUS

    If the laptop was your 1st order at HSN, they will almost never approve you for an expensive first item on flex pay. As it gets closer to Christmas, more and more of these “denied flexpay” posts will appear. Tip for anyone singing up for an account here, make a couple of non-flexpay orders first, THEN make a flexpay order for an electronic, phone, etc.

    Unfortunately HSN and most every other site, doesn’t have a mechanism in place to first evaluate your credit for flexpay THEN place the order. At my CU, the pending hold from HSN falls off after 5 days from my debit card account.

    HSN and QVC really need to be transparent as to what their credit requirements are for big ticket items for flexpay. Especially with holiday buying starting.

    Are you sure they didnt just do an authorization and that would put a hold on the money, call the credit card holder and find out.
