Flexpay denied, card charged
Im not sure how you can charge my card but deny me the option for flexpay and then tell me I have to wait to get a letter in the mail to find out why i was denied. I’ve ordered from here before with no problem. I will go back to QVC for my needs from now on but I want my money released back to my card.

Did you ever get the money back ?

Same thing happened to me.i don’t understand why I’m very upset.

File a complaint here: **********
HSN, regulated like other channels by the Federal Communications Commission, probably keeps informed about what goes on at this site. The Commission’s Website is consumer friendly and easy to use. You can report a complaint at the above link, tell your story and make it public. What HSN did may be legal, but your public statement read maybe by thousands, as well as lawyers at the Commission, may persuade HSN to change this consumer-hostile policy. It may also rally others with problems ordering from other shopping channels to join in support.

thank you. HSN is telling me it’s up to my bank, my bank is telling me it’s up to HSN to release the funds. The funny thing is they did a $2 test withdrawal and immediate deposit, so WHY can’t they do that with this as well? To me it’s fraud. I’ve seen hundreds of these comments/complaints about this procedure. You would certainly think they would modify this if for no other reason than to NOT have to deal with upset “customers”, although I use that word lightly, as I won’t be purchasing here ever again. I did have one rep on Facebook reach out and offer to try and speed things up, but the other 4 I’ve spoken to all said the same thing “our procedures are clearly stated on the see details of Flex Pay”. I’ve used flex pays on many sites and had ZERO issues, so I guess shame on me for thinking HSN would be the same. IN the end, it’s our fault, no doubt, however, it could be more consumer friendly, and they would remove these stains from their system, and likely even have more customers for it.

Hi @pissedoff5554, I really am sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. I see that you have reached out to us via Facebook and we’ve sent an electronic request to have the authorization released. The time frame of the funds becoming available is up to your financial institution.

Same thing just happened to me. I won’t be back. It’s one thing to deny a customer a 5 pay option(although I have NO idea why in my case but whatever) but then to charge the card and say it can take up to 30 days to remove the charge… that is utter bs.
-
Are you sure it wasn’t just a temporary charge?
-
EVEN if it’s a temp charge, those usually take 48-72 hours to come off. Why charge if they are going to deny it? I’ve never had a multipay denied ever, and I’ve used it for bigger ticket items many times. In fact in my case because this was $1600, I had the option at my usual place of business for 4 pay, but the 5 pay lowered it a bit so I thought why not. Got an alert from my bank of the charge, then a pop up from HSN saying DENIED. ZERO reason any charge should go through if they are not going to honor the deal. I was already frustrated that their discount codes sent to me wouldn’t work either (read the fine print lol)
