Was there some kind of update to the web site? All the pages look really big and distorted.

i am experiencing the same problem as shopper jenv1964. I signed on a few hours ago and all my pages are big and distorted. The drop down account information, order status, sign-in, sign out, etc…all appear to the far left of the screen. The items available for purchase are listed one after the other and you need to scroll down one item at a time to view and that one item is in full screen view. There is no option to view multiple items by 30, 60 or 90 per page. Does anyone know how to correct this and get back to the normal settings? Nothing on my end has changed. I’m using google chrome.

Thriftstorelover,i am using chromebook and wonder if thats the problem?This would be the only place i am having this problem so makes me think its on HSN end………..When i clicked on a email hsn sent me awhile back for a tsv a box briefly popped up and said we are directing you to DESKTOP version website so that makes me think its on there end as well.I just tried that now and no box pops up…. Lets hope it gets resolved.

Whats interesting is i have the community page in favs and when i click on it ITS all normal size!

I wonder if clearing out your search history, etc. would help. On my iPad it is under Settings, Safari, Clear History and Website Data. Then reboot your system. That has helped my device issues in the past.
It would be helpful to Customer Service to include give your device type (PC, TABLET, PHONE, etc.) and the browser you are using (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, etc.).
You could also send an email with your above info and the issues you are having to. HSNSocialCare@hsn.com It might take a day or two, but they have always gotten back to me.

To: SanibelSheller – Thank you for the HSNSocialCare@hsn.com email. I did reach out and received a reply with some troubleshooting suggestions. Unfortunately, they did not work. The HSN website is still loading with super enlarged images and text. All other websites load and display normally.
To: Jenve1964 – I saw your post on the same day I starting having problems with the HSN website. Were you able to resolve this issue or are you like me still waiting for tech support to investigate and correct the problem?
To: FLOMO – I saw your post that the website was finally fixed which gave me a tiny bit of hope and then you posted again today that the problem is back and you’ve waited over 2 weeks for it to be initially corrected.
What the heck is going on? Are we the only 3 HSN shoppers experiencing this problem with the HSN website. It appears that no one on the HSN side is aware of the website loading improperly. If anyone finds a solution, please share and I will do the same.

FLOMO – I’m using a HP Chromebook, touchscreen, keyboard but no mouse. My google chrome browser is up to date. I even tried changing browsers and used Yahoo to access HSN.com and the same super enlarged distorted images and text appeared with a different browser. My Chromebook zoom setting is at 100% (click on 3 dots at upper right corner). I’ve cleared my cache and my cookies after every session. I’ve rebooted my system multiple times. I don’t even have HSN.com bookmarked. I type http://www.HSN.com into the url address bar each visit. Yes, my Community Page is normal too. All other websites that I visit using my HP Chromebook are normal.
This problem with HSN occurred about 2 weeks ago and is ongoing and only with this website. I will share with you some of the suggestions I received from HSN staffers. It did not resolve my problem but maybe with luck it will resolve yours.
Is your Chromebook touchscreen? if yes, you can try pinching and spreading your two fingers to zoom out. If not touchscreen, hold the Ctrl button and use the middle scroll button on the mouse. If no mouse, you can also use the Ctrl button and press the minus symbol on the keyboard. That will zoom you out. Clear cache, clear cookies, reboot. Check zoom % when on website (3 dots at upper right corner). According to them, it appears that I am zoomed in just on HSN’s site.
How is it that after we’ve cleared the cache, the cookies and rebooted the system that the settings don’t default back to normal. I don’t believe I’m zoomed into just HSN’s site. If that were the case, then the images would only be super enlarged but my account information, sign in and out, order status dropdown is on the far left of my screen. Normally they appear on the right side of the screen. Is that the same case for you?
Just because no one at HSN has heard of this problem doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist.

Thriftstorelover i to am on HP chrombook and did all you stated you did when this happened last time and it did not work..Its definitely not our zoom,i already checked that out to.. Sounds like its a chrombook issue and actually started up again when my computer updated last night!!……I looked before in all my settings to see if there was a way to reset and found nothing.

FLOMO – This is so frustrating. The latest version of Google Chrome is 100.0.4896.133 – dated 4/18/22 (15 days ago). Chrome does a full update every 4 weeks and security fixes every 2-3 weeks. My problem started 2 weeks ago so I’m not ruling out a google chrome problem but I can’t explain why only on this HSN website. i’m hoping in 2 weeks when google chrome does a full update, it will go back to normal. In the meantime if you want someone from HSN to respond to you, then email: HSNSocialCare@hsn.com. They will definitely get back to you in a day or less. Let them know the troubleshooting you’ve already done so they don’t respond with suggestions you’ve already tried which failed. Good Luck.

I dont turn off my laptop most of the time so my updates dont get downloaded till i do..So most likely the update last night was from awhile ago and because i restarted my laptop because it froze it got downloaded and a little later i went to hsn and it was huge again..Im not gonna bother with CS again.If i find anything out elsewhere i will let you know….Take care!

Hi thriftstorelover – No I have not had any success with getting this resolved either. I e-mail customer service and all they told me was to clear my cookies. I tried that and nothing happened. I re-emailed them and was told not that they have no answers and the hopefully it will resolve itself over time. This is getting very frustrating. I hope we all get this resolved soon.

Hi jenv1964. Are you using a HP Chromebook too? Both FLOMO and I are using Chromebooks. Next google chrome full update is in less than two weeks. Wouldn’t it be great if that update resolves our problem?

Hi Thriftstorelover!! so i got a email that a item i bought a week ago shipped and it showed item…..I clicked on it and it took me to item here…But before i got to item it said in a flash WE are launching HSN desktop app!Then i am here..Whats weird is HSN CS is saying they dont have a desktop app??!!I could scream!!So frustrating!look for a recent order in your email and click on item to see if you see same thing…..It also says something like desktop app OR click here .Its so fast its hard to read!

I don’t understand why no one is not doing anything about this. The site is so hard to navigate and unusable. I will keep e-mailing customer service and keep asking why there is no resolution. Maybe if others also e-mail them they will do something instead of just telling us to clear our cookies. We cannot be the only ones that are using Chrome Books that are having this issue. So if you are having this issue please also e-mail them at HSNSocialCare@hsn.com and ask for assistance with this. Maybe they will take more notice if more people complain.

Hi FLOMO, I didn’t get an email notification. The last item I purchased was shipped over a week ago. Plus, I usually check the website for tracking information. I rarely open those emails. Finally something in my favor. I don’t think I can handle another mishap. Well I’m writing to say I never heard back from the google chrome support community. I’ll try again.
Hi jenv1964, I reached out to HSNSocialCare@hsn.com more than once. I didn’t appreciate that I listed all the troubleshooting I did that failed and they offered me the exact same troubleshooting suggestions. At that point I told them they were not being helpful and to please expedite my tech support request that I placed with customer service weeks ago. The only people I hear back from are you and FLOMO. Thank you guys for responding. If I learn anything I’ll share.

Do both of you have the Chrome operating system like I do? What browser are you using? I’m using Google Chrome. Have either of you tried using Firefox or Microsoft Edge browsers? I don’t have those browsers installed on my Chromebook. I tried using Yahoo with same results. If either of you have Firefox or Microsoft Edge browsers installed on your Chromebooks can you try opening up HSN using either or both of those browsers. That was the recommendation I got so far from the HP Chromebook Community.

Hi thriftstorelover!..I just downloaded firefox and it did not work!I emailed CS and the guy suggested downloading hsn app but that didnt work either….Its a phone app so i can see why..I did read a few reviews for the hsn app and one said it was terrible that everything was blown up huge…I dont know if that was on a phone or laptop tho………………CS asked for info on last update and my chromebook model and i sent it to him…Have not heard back yet..He said he would help to fix this issue so fingers crossed!!Will keep you guys posted!Oh another issue i have had is yrs ago Hsn assigned me my nic Flomo and i CANT change it!I asked Cs once and they said they couldn’t either!So am hoping this Guy can do that.

I have the HSN app on my iphone 11 Pro Max and it works perfectly fine. There are no distorted images on my HSN iphone app. Yes, the google play store on my Chromebook shows HSN as a phone app. Not sure why that was even a suggestion. Hopefully If the problem is affecting more shoppers, HSN will take this a bit more seriously. In the meantime, I’m guessing that the next full update on the Chromebook will be around May 17th. Fingers crossed – all our issues get resolved including your HSN nickname.
P.S. Have you ever heard of Zulily.com. It is affiliated with both HSN and QVC. I only recently became acquainted with the Zulily website and it is a fun website to shop.

Hi – I also just downloaded Firefox and same issue. I also e-mailed customer service and I have not heard back yet. The only thing is the last few times I e-mailed they came back with fast answers so I am thinking this time they are finally taking this serious and may have turned it over to the IT department to check into further. We shall see if this gets fixed anytime soon. Well hopefully this tread will no longer be needed. Good luck to all of us 🙂 !!
