Watch out!!
I have been with HSN for many years and spent lot’s of money. They stand there a tell you to fill your cart and if you don’t like some thing for ANY reason you can return it within 30 days. NO PROBLEM!! So fill your cart. I just got a letter that said if I return anything more they will cancel my account. I will not be influenced by their pressure tactics and not be able to return anything any more. I closed my acct and my HSN card. There has to be something illegal or immoral about this. High pressure tactics and then cut us off. Buyer beware!!

I made the mistake of changing cards for my flex pays. So, my visa & HSN card charged me for my flex pays. It has been a nightmare. I will never use flex pay again! I also doubt this will be resolved. It is supposed to be on July 28th. I first reported it on May 23rd. I am paying twice for the items I put on flex pay. I have not purchased anything since I found out this happened.

That’s really too bad and so frustrating. Good luck and keep at them. HSN should be turned into the Fair Trade Commission but they are too big to make any difference. When you do get it resolved maybe just stop dealing with them all together. I would think your credit card company that you changed to could help you. They are generally very understanding. AND the telephone number for Synchrony, your HSN card customer service is right on the back of your card. Good luck and thanks for your input. We can all help each other.

I plan on contacting my Visa card to let them know what is happening. I have talked many times to HSN & Synchrony bank. I have been charged twice now for many items. I am discouraged. My husband opened my statement, which he doesn’t usually do so I had to explain the whole mess to him. I will keep you posted.

I have been in touch with Synchrony Bank & HSN. I do love some items that only HSN sells. I will never do a flex pay again. I was sick in Feb.
March & April. I thought everything was okay. They allow you to charge to a different card. I did that & I have had no help! The payments I made on my visa don’t show on my HSN card. They still charged me for all flex pays. I am not well & this matter only adds to my stress!

Thank you to you both. I just checked my order status after closing my account and I see where they doubled the returns for the last craft day that I actually did. Instead of showing 5 returns they double each one and it showed 10 in a row – 2 each with the exact same order number. I had to straighten out a problem with my HSN credit card this month too. They charged me twice for a few things including the interest taken out. Who is minding the show exactly. No wonder I got that letter. It shows 10 returns in a row when there was only 5. You are exactly right: If we don’t watch these things they get off with a lot of money from negligent book keeping. The guy at Synchrony with my HSN card apologized and said to absolutely check my statement every month. It’s not worth it to have to watch everything they do so closely. How are they getting away with this!! Thanks again! I am missing craft day for the first time in a long time but I can’t let them do this anymore.

Good luck. I have posted about this matter. When I do purchase something, it will be on my Visa. With a single payment!

I agree. I made the mistake of putting some of my flex pays on my visa card. So Hsn still charged me & I have been billed twice! No more flex pays for me. EVER! I disputed my charges on May 23rd & it is still not resolved.

Leah16 what percentage of your purchases did you return? It would be really nice if they gave us some guidelines on how much is too much! I have read a lot of posts about this happening so you are not the only customer this is happening too. Its really a shame they do this because they do advertise to buy and return anything no questions asked!

QVC has been doing this for years. I understand excessive returns is costly for all involved. If this is a problem, don’t keep pushing the 30 day return policy. I didn’t get a letter, but when QVC started this policy, I simply stopped doing business. There are other avenues these days. All companies need to be careful. That runs both ways. As consumers, we need to be careful who is getting our hard-earned money.
