Unclaimed property

I received a letter in the mail that u have unclaimed property that will transfer to Virginia unclaimed property Division it i don’t contact them.

I used to work for QVC I’m not sure why I would have unclaimed money with HSN. I’m just trying to find out if this is legal
Letter is claim it over $500 that is unclaimed. Please advise a what to do
