Traeger Grill
I was told by customer service nearly a week ago, this grill shipped through AIT on Nov 28 it was ordered Nov 23. The delivery date was dec 4. In my orders it shows that there was an issue with the order thats why I contacted customer service in the first place. This order was to be shipped to a different address, my grandsons. We cant find any information on this order from HSN or AIT shipping. Is there anyone who knows what is going on ??? I am going through a pretty similar experience based on the above complaints.
My parents ordered me this gift for Christmas and it was due to be delivered (first date given) on 12/14. By 12/23 when the date of delivery had changed 3 times I contacted AIT. They informed me that the package was in Atlanta being loaded onto a truck and would be shipped to the local facility overnight and delivered on 12/24. To no surprise, 12/24 came and went and no Traegar.
I called AIT again this morning and got the standard answer of ‘every carrier is experiencing delays, etc.’. To which I said I understood however when I asked to confirm if the information I was told on 12/23 was correct or was I told something that was not accurate the customer service rep confirmed that if I was told that it was being loaded onto a truck on 12/23 in Atlanta and in route to the local facility was in fact a lie. He confirmed that NOTHING has been done and the package hasn’t left the Atlanta facility and that he had zero updates to share with me as the last information provided was on 12/22 and that was that the delivery date had changed to 12/24.
My elderly parents are overwhelmed with all of this and are stressed about the amount of money they have spent that they are afraid won’t ever show up or will show up damaged because of the lack of any quality in customer service given thus far by this SUBPAR shipping company.
Why would HSN hire such a company versus charging extra to just use a real shipping company where you can actually track the delivery information vs having to call into even tell what city/facility the package is currently in (yeah, another gem for AIT – you cannot see ANYTHING other than a date and the ‘high level information’ on what happened, you can’t see the city/facility on any of the updates without calling into customer service and then probing for information)? At this point the angst that my parents have been put through would have been worth any extra cost to use a real shipping company that can actually be held accountable.
This is VERY disappointing experience and I can confidently say – all of my family, friends and anyone else who will listen to me will understand going forward to not order anything from HSN (or it’s affiliates) where the shipping is fulfilled by AIT. I do not understand how HSN continues their service with AIT given their customer’s experiences. Corona virus or not – I was flat out lied to by the shipping company. -

Hello @debjr. I spoke to the delivery company. As of today the grill is in transit to them and they will be arranging delivery soon. I also confirmed that it will be going to your grandson as you requested. We thank you for your patience.

I’m having a very similar problem with the same item. I ordered the traeger on the 27th and HSN marked the item as shipped over a week ago but AIT claims they haven’t received the package. I contacted HSN and they referred me to AIT. AIT refers me back to HSN.
