Terrible customer service, horrible shipping times – will never use HSN again

I made the mistake of purchasing an item through HSN that was meant to be a Christmas present for my daughter. It was about $20 cheaper than everywhere else – my fault for trying to save a few bucks! The item was guaranteed delivery by Christmas Eve but I still paid 3 day shipping to get it here faster. It’s now been over a week since I purchased it and it is still “waiting to be picked up” by UPS. Every time I chat with HSN, they refer me to UPS, who says they don’t have it – YEAH, I KNOW! HSN told me they “might” ship it out expedited to get it to me by Christmas Eve, but otherwise “get with them on the 26th, because they’re closed on the 25th.” OK? Don’t guarantee something if you are not going to follow through! I will tell everyone I know never to buy a thing from HSN!
